   The staff here are incredible. A while ago, I was robbed on the street (my phone). I was asking people on the road to call the police however no one could. I walked into the Tesco, and asked anyone to call the police ASAP. A kind employee, took me to the back. Gave me her personal phone to call the police. She calmed me down and even gave me water. She reassured me about insurance and that I’m going to be ok. She also let me use her phone to call my bank and freeze everything. Lastly, she waited the whole time with me until the police arrived. I’m feel so grateful to her. One day, I hope to go and give her a little gift. Haven’t had the chance too yet, but hopefully soon.

   I had a terrible experience at Tesco recently. The lady wearing specs was shockingly rude and dismissive. Her tone was unprofessional and her attitude made it clear she had no interest in helping customers.

   The customer service in this store needs improvement. I was being served and the lady just walked off. She was also almost throwing the items outside the basket for me to pick up.

   Last week my wife went shopping there with our baby. It was Monday morning 08.11.2022 and it wasn't busy, so she tried to use one of the shelf check places. All of them were free at that moment, but surprisingly she was called by one of the sales people to be checked by her at the place she worked. My wife said to her that she is not ready, because she needed to take some other products. But the lady, who called my wife roughly started to argue with my wife. My wife asked to meet the manager, but she kept waiting till one person came without a badge and said that he is the manager. My wife insisted to meet the real manager and after 10 minutes came another man with a badge who I spoke with by telephone after meeting with my wife. He explained to me that she is not allowed to use self-check places, because she has got a lot of items and it will be keeping busy the place of the check. That's ridiculous, because at that moment no one used the shelf check places. However she brought the items to the lady, so she can check them at her workplace. The sales person again started to argue with my wife, which was that time over the limit. As a result the 5 minutes my wife should spend to check by herself expanded to over 20 minutes and she felt as if she was treated like a shoplifter, the baby had been awakened as well. That is not the first time she is followed as a criminal there and the only reason is that she is an east EU citizen by the security guard. In fact the people who she noticed that stole from that shop are Indian with few items, who checked, not paid and left the shop. However there are people as well who really look after the customers and try to do their best to be helpful, some of them are security. To all of them we are very thankful.

   After years this store has finally gotten self checkout machines - some people are saying this is the best news since the announcement of the covid vaccine. Sadly the store is still too small - would it really hurt Tesco PLC to extend the store so we don't have to queue down a tiny Isle next to leaking freezers? The staff are lovely and it's one of the few Tesco stores where the staff still actually bag your items for you.
