I was wrongly accused of stealing and asked to open my bag in public After staff realised they were wrong they apologised - but the situation was already humiliating. I was the only person approached, which makes this feel like racial profiling. As a regular customer, this experience was upsetting and unacceptable. Staff need better training and awareness.

I shop here every week but on this occasion I have come out of the store upset And embarrassed. On arrival I took a trolley as I always do. On approaching the automatic doors I stopped and went back to get some flowers. The next thing I knew there was a member of staff shouting at me because the alarm went off. And I went in and out of the store. I said I did approach the door I am sorry if this set the alarm off. Milan is the name of the member of staff who after I apologized continued to speak to me in a rude tone saying the trolley is locked. He then came back again bring rude saying he can't find the wheel unlocker and I would need the leave the trolley there. I once again apologized and explained that I only have a trolley coin which was in the trolley and couldn't get anoher one. Again still being rude in his tone he said there was nothing he could do to help me. Lots of customers entered the store all staring at me due to the way I was being spoken to. A couple entered the store and said I should go in and complain as he was very rude. I entered the store and told a member of staff what had happened. She got a supervisor. I explianed again what had happened. Within 2 minutes she unlocked the wheels. When I told her that Milan was so rude and people were looking at me I was told that he's such a nice man and maybe he is having a bad day. We all have bad days that is no excuse to speak to people on this manor. Especially if working in customer service. I was really upset and embarrassed which shouldn't be the case in a branch I have been shopping in for years now. Milan is extremely rude

Very busy today 8th November 10.30am, myself and 3 other customers witnessed some guy walk up to the meat display and put over Β£100.00 worth of steak into a rucksack and walk straight out ,no security on the door. We reported it to a cashier who was more interested in making sure my trolley was empty before scanning our goods

Title: Good value store overall, but lacking in organic dairy options Review: I visit the Lidl fairly regularly. The store is clean, the pricing is good for many everyday grocery items and it’s convenient for the Yeading/Hayes area. The opening hours (08:00-22:00 Mon-Sat, and Sunday 11:00-17:00) are also helpful. However, as someone who prioritises organic products (especially milk and dairy), I’ve been disappointed. On each recent visit I’ve checked the dairy section and there is no organic cow’s milk ,and this seems to be consistent rather than a one-off. That is a shame, because if you’re shopping with that requirement in mind you’ll likely have to go elsewhere. Other items likewise β€” while the store has a good basic range of products β€” the β€œorganic” label choices in certain categories seem thin or nonexistent compared to what you might expect at some other supermarkets. Pros: Good value / competitive pricing on mainstream grocery lines. Convenient location for local shoppers. Decent opening hours to fit busy schedules. Cons: Lack of reliable stock of organic dairy (milk, maybe other organic lines). If organic is a priority, this store doesn’t currently meet that need well. There may also be times when product choices are more limited (some reported that shelves in parts of the store are under-stocked). Recommendation: If you’re shopping for everyday groceries on a budget and aren’t set on organic dairy, Lidl Hayes is a fine choice. But if organic milk or a wide organic range is important to you, I’d suggest checking whether they have it before visiting or consider a store with a stronger organic offer.

The place is big. However this tills are almost never staffed enough with queues being around 20 minutes long. Sometimes towards closing where some people are doing their weekly shop, no tills are open. On quieter days its a great place to shop

Lidl's is getting better and better. Why shell out lots of money elsewhere when you can buy quality food at Lidl's that is much cheaper! More staff on the tills would be better though. But then that seems to apply to any supermarket.

Chaotic. Place was in a mess. Only 2 tills open. Long queues. Staff too busy talking amongst themselves. Empty boxes scattered in the aisles. Bakery was a mess. Fruit and veg was all over the place. Security guard was too busy watching YouTube. Can't find anything.
