Twice, I have had packages delivered for pick up from this store and on both occasions they 'didn't have it'. The first time, they miraculously found it after I persisted (a computer monitor) and the second time I was brushed off and rudely told to call UPS.
EXTREMELY RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, ABRUPT, CONFRONTATIONAL, BAD MANNERED WOMAN & owner of this shop, her staff could teach her some basic manners and how to speak with her customers who spend money on a regular basis in her shop..! I never saw such disgusting lack of respect for her customers in all my life. - Such a RUDE woman. I would AVOID this place as lots of other shops close by who appreciate and respect their customers as clearly this shop doesn’t what’s so ever…. I WON’T be back nor will my partner and I will be SURE to tell ALL MY OTHER NEIGHBOURS AND FRIENDS LOCALLY just how AWFUL this woman and shop is. AVOID AVOID AVOID….!!!!
Concerning UPS Pick up and drop off this shop is a horrible experience. For whatever reason the local ups driver does not seem to deliver to the address on the package, but directly drops it off at this store. When you get the mail that tells you to collect and you go there to collect, they tell you the ups driver has not delivered it yet. When you try to drop of a return package as per instructions, they dont take the parcel The whole collection and return process seems somewhat arbitrary and is largely dependent on how they feel that day Especially the woman in the store is very unfriendly and grumpy. Definitely wont be buying anything from them.
Crooks, they show their Gordon's with SL (diet) tonic at £1.69 but at the till try and charge £2.40. I complained and the guy working there rang the manager but he wouldn't budge. They just said sorry it was a mistake, I don't blame the guy working there but I'm sure if I went in their later it still would show £1.69 and the manager won't care if people a little tipsy won't check.
They refused to take ups Amazon returns. They claimed the system was down and when I said I would check with Amazon they got agitated and asked me to leave the shop Amazon and ups have confirmed there were no system problems Do not under any circumstances use this shop
Withholding UPS parcels. These guys kept using the excuse that their "UPS parcel scanner is not working" to withhold my parcel from me. After the third day of my attempted collection I said I would call the cops if they did not release my parcel. All of a sudden they complied - accepted my tracking number / ID and gave me my parcel. Really??? do customers have to resort to getting the cops involved in order to receive service?
A good basic range of products for when you've run out of something, but watch that you get the right change - they have shortchanged me twice in a row and I'm not going back there as a result. Even if nothing else is open nearby! They also try and sell you fake Rizla if you're not careful.
Horrible service! They withheld my package even after showing proof of purchase and ups confirmation email. He then threw my package on the floor which is a 300£ medical device and said he won’t look at my phone that had my ups confirmation. They treated me like I’m some thief - I’m a presentable girl coming back from yoga and trying to show proof of purchase on my iPhone. He told me to call the police if I want my package. Unbelievable people here - just want my property that I paid for not a bunch of convenience store drama. Will never give them any business from here on out. Very unprofessional. Very rude. Still don’t have my device. Appaling!!!! Update: I went back and the clerk was like I know where you’re from I know where you live. Great so he knows my home address now. Is that a threat? Then he proceeds to insult my ethnicity (I’m Italian). Wow, wasn’t expecting that. These people are really off. I said have a great day and walked off. Never going there again.
