Scam and cheat Dont ever buy from this place as this is third experience where I feel like i had been cheated. Boughts mangoes for whopping £15.99 a box and 5 of them are rotten. They do not get rid off of rotten things but sell to the customers anyways. Read through other similar comments and can agree what others might have felt. Avoid at all costs.
Bought this 5kg price packet, and realised only after opening that the packet was torn and the store managed it by sticking tape and selling at full price. Unethical store practice. Avoid.
Avoid Buying Meat Here – Expired & Rotten! I had a terrible experience at New South Harrow Food and Wines. I bought a packet of goat meat for £10-12, only to find out it was expired, rotten, and had a horrible smell when I opened it. Clearly, they do not care about proper storage or sourcing of their products. I’m just grateful I didn’t eat it, as it could have caused serious health problems. I strongly warn others to check expiry dates carefully—or better yet, buy your meat elsewhere!
No doubt they have good variety of things but staff is not good, the things at the upper shelf is to be taken with the help of staff and they take 5 minutes to come after asking for many times and the lady at the counter have no manners of answering, i asked for munch chocolate she asks her colleague and they theirself talk and answer each other out of stock and i was waiting for their answer, after that i asked when it will be in stock she doesn't says anything just by rolling her hand (no), atleast if you don't have something you should say in a good way with respect, at other shops they apologise and tells approximate date but there no respect for the customer. Long waiting time as they have 2 counters and 1 is always vacant whenever i go, have to be in queue No respect
