I wasn't expecting much But I was massively surprised with animals and the fact people help and assting with all the upkeep. Good selection of animals friendly staff and nice cake and tea rooms. I parking right outside the place which was free. And it wasn't too busy considering it was half term. Would recommend and will be returning.
What a great little place this is! Totally free to enter (but please tap your card a few times to leave a donation!), a city farm in the heart of Sheffield where the kiddies can see (and touch!) a selection of animals, including ponies, sheep, goats, pigs and bunnies (and a few fussy cats wandering around) We will certainly return on our next trip to Sheffield!
Lovely place with a variety of animals and a good coffee. dog friendly. Great for a day out. They also do very fun events and workshops so it’s worth checking out what’s on! Also selling plants, manure, eggs etc
A lovely little farm giving back to the community in the best way possible. It’s great for families and small children and all animal lovers really. I always pass by the goats when I am walking my dog and I appear to have befriended them! They have all sorts of farm animals, small animals, and even the most majestic peacock!!
I went to help volunteer with a recent project. The animals are adorable. The variety of plant species is awesome. The staff are so warm and welcoming to anyone and everyone with a variety of needs. I also used the café which is very fairly priced and the food was lovely. I'll definitely go again.
It's a great place. It varies when the animals are put but they have a good selection (horse, goat, cow, pigs) for a city farm. They also have a domestic pet section with some lovely degas and rabbits and stuff. There's a great cafe, always friendly staff and good food; and a playground for young children. In season there are some great plants they sell (the fruit trees are good) from their shop, and the whole place is chilled and welcoming. They also host some good festivals and groups here, it is a favourite and useful local resource we couldn't do without.
Great little place animals all seem very well cared for on a plus side it's free just a donation towards looking after the place
Not been down for a long time and it's changed s lot A nice place to bring children and the staff all work very hard. I found looking at the animals very destressing. Keep up the good work.
