   Every time I visit this Tesco Express, I have a really frustrating experience. Plastic bags are never readily available, so you’re left standing around at the self-checkout trying to get someone’s attention just to buy a bag. This happens every time. When a member of staff eventually hands you one or brings one over, they always insist that it’s scanned, which makes the whole interaction feel awkward and unnecessary, as if customers are assumed to be trying to steal a 40p bag without paying. By that logic they should ask me to scan every item that I intend on buying. It slows everything down, creates an uncomfortable atmosphere, and could easily be avoided by simply making bags accessible like in most other stores. Not a great customer experience.

   I’d like to sincerely compliment the manager, Deep, at Tesco petrol station today for their swift efficiency in reporting a customer within minutes—before even attempting a basic conversation. It takes real dedication to customer service to skip communication altogether! Despite mentioning I’d put in petrol and purchased snacks, only the snacks were charged, and when I returned to clarify just 20 minutes later, I was already treated like a criminal. Truly a masterclass in hospitality and misunderstanding. Keep up the… unforgettable work.

   Got some petrol and a few snacks from here. Well stocked little store. Charged the correct amount at checkout. Petrol pumps were not busy but took ages to get served on the tills. Some very slow customers who feel it’s fine to put items down and wonder off to get more products, holding everyone up. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking looks like a nightmare here.

   Be careful when shopping at this Tesco express, today was the second time in two visits that I’d been charged double for one item. What I found suspicious was the way the manager seemed to be upset with me for going back and asking for a refund to the point she was very rude and aggressive and we got into an argument. Always check your receipt!. This is definitely not the standard of service I expect from Tesco.

   Selected incorrect combination for meal deal (never had a problem at other Tesco stores), went to swop it quickly as literally a few feet away and cashier went to next customer. Line formed with me on the end of it. Heard staff being rude to other customers so decision made - I walked out and went elsewhere. Parking also seems to be a nightmare. I won’t come back, that’s how you lose customers Tesco Bushey, you could learn a lot from Tesco Express Kenton Lane who are exemplary in their customer service..
