I have been shopping fron Alwan from past 20 yrs. They now have 3 shops, Alwan Groceries, Alwan butchers and Alwan sweets, everything is always fresh, the meat is delivered daily. The staff are very polite.
This little Middle Eastern grocery shop is an absolute gem! Fantastic selection of fresh spices, olives, and hard-to-find ingredients. Everything is authentic, high-quality, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Middle Eastern flavors!

No 1 cheaters always doing doggy prices they charge me 4 times in 6 months I was always checking prices. For 3 tomatoes he charge me Β£.150 which cost 60 pens onion bag price is 1.99 he charge me 2.99. If any one buying 4 or 5 items they will charge you extra money. Because maximum people do not take receipt so they donβt know how much they charging. Some items they sell out of date always check date when you buy here.check prices out side on fruit & veg different prices out side on till more prices. So always check.

You can do all your middle easterners food shopping here. Excellent butchers too with all sorts of fresh Halal meat. They even provide for restaurants and community programs. Fresh meat selection is amazing here, Plus a good variety of pre-prepared meats for shawarma, kebabs and more. They have a separate fresh fruits section too.
The best place to buy halal chicken and meet when I say the best I mean it because I have tried other places but in most of them the chicken smells, plus the service is very good and all of them they helpful, if you have any questions just ask, i do my shopping only with Alwan Supermarket
