   Please don’t shop here they don’t black people Racist toward black people I had a deeply upsetting experience at the New Malden Lidl on 2nd October 2025. While using the self-checkout, a staff member named Parvati publicly accused me of not paying for a bag, even though I was still scanning my items. Despite explaining the situation calmly, Parvati continued shouting and called security immediately, drawing attention from other customers and making me feel humiliated and intimidated. I was the only Black customer at the self-checkouts at the time, and no other customers were treated this way. I strongly feel that I was unfairly singled out because of my race. Lidl must take this seriously and review staff training to ensure all customers are treated respectfully and without bias.

   I don't often go there, but found what I wanted with ease. Very good produce and price, good selection of cold meats and cheeses. Good selection of wines across the price range. Much easier to park with the recent store improvements.

   The store has a decent bakery section with a good variety of fresh items, which is definitely a highlight. However, the tools section is a bit of a letdown, as it doesn’t quite match the quality and range found in other branches. There’s plenty of parking available right next to the shop, but it’s not free

   This Lidl is ok,the isles are small,saw someone with a walker and mum with a buggy struggling to get round,the isles were shut off with products so maybe if they open them people would be able to move round shop more easily, And find all the products all muddled up,

   Great bakery, brilliant prices, I have yet to do any shopping in this store as it's not really near enough from where I live but if you live locally it's great and I really like their app, still early days using it but it looks very promising

   Used to shop in Lidl when we lived in Germany. Nothing fancy about the shop which can be expected when it's a no frills basic shop. Pile stock high, sell it cheap is their philosophy which in today's economic climate is what everyone needs when cost of living is so high.

   This lidl is smaller than your average lidl, hence the range of goods on offer is smaller than usual, this is both in terms of food and non food items. However nevertheless the quality of what they do have is up to the same high on quality lidl on price standard.

   Love the prices. Used the self service check out. The Black guy on duty was so helpful young about 27 years old. That you Lidi you have a great staff member and food good and much cheaper than Tesco. Still a great place.
