“Always encounter friendly and helpful staff here. I didn’t catch her name but I especially wanted to thank the lady who helped me earlier this evening - I was struggling to find a colour match for my bathroom’s silicone sealant, as the colours shown on the bottles are often inaccurate and Screwfix unfortunately doesn’t have/do samples, but she did her best to show me what they had available and find what colour might work. Turns out the vanilla was a perfect match, thank you!”

“Great little Indian grocery store with a good supply of South Indian ingredients and products. Very friendly staff who are ready to help and reasonable prices. They open really early so convenient for early risers like me!”

“This is an excellent Korean food supermarket. It is laid out well and has all you that you may need whether you buy wholesale or like me just live to cook Korean food at home. Staff are welcoming and helpful. It is also good value for money. I will be back.”

“A lovely quiet clean and child friendly space. Staff is super professional and helpful. The place is clean and lots of toys for the children to play with. It has toilet and baby changing unit and serves good healthy food for children (order must be in until 4pm). My 4 yrs old and 10 months daughters had a lot of fun!! There is a secure inside the building buggy parking space. The place is secured by a locjed gate so children cannot randomly go around on their own. VERY VERY VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS PLACE AND WILL COME BACK TO SHOW DADDY SOON!!! It would be nice to see other rooms used to get more children in, like having a play kitchen, dressing up area, drawing/craft area loose parts play. And to promote the business even more, maybe to organise a singing rhyme time when all children come in a group and a member of staff sing nursery rhymes. Added value was free parking and there is also a park with paddling pool close by. This has even have an exercise task for children (on the pavement) and exercise equipped small gym in the park.”

“We had a fantastic Christmas party at the upstairs private function room with its own bar, audio system and the screen, accommodating 40 guests of ours perfectly. Super kind professional staffs and delicious Christmas menu made our event perfect! Highly recommended and we’d definitely choose the venue for our next Christmas event again ;)”

“You have got to try the Singapore Rice Noodles, they are out of this world! Me and the staff have become friends at this point. They were very nice and the atmosphere was decent with the large fish tank with cute fish swimming peacefully. 5 Stars!”

“On the weekend we spent the afternoon holding a presentation for my Thai boxing club, Christmas party and awards at bar Malden the venue was beautiful and feeling very festive the customers service was brilliant and Dee the bar staff really was a amazing and very helpful from setting up our preordering food for the big group we are and was checking in to see if there was anything more she can do to make this a good year to celebrate my teammates, The food was lovely and really didn’t want it to finish.”

Some restaurants, over time, seem to get lazy, and it's not even that unexpected when the food quality suffers. That's why restaurants like Spice Express are like gold dust. You can rely on the same great tasting food time and time again. I recommend trying one of their chef's specials. You won't be disappointed.”

“I ordered through 'just eat' last night. Being alone I appreciated the £14 minimum order for free delivery as opposed to the usual £20. One of the owners delivered as opposed to a faceless kid in a crash helmet. The food was perfect. Fresh and clean.This chef knows what he is doing. The Biryani was as good as any I have had in India. Move over Fleet Tandoori, you were number one in Gospel Oak and took it for granted. There is a new kid on the block and they are GOOD.”

“The food here is really fresh and very flavourful. Have been to a lot of indian restaurants but this gives a homely taste, so definitely worth it! They gave us their amazing sambal complimentary too! The service is really amazing too!”

“This is my favorite cafe! I live in the US, and whenever I visit my family in New Malden this is one of my first stops. It’s become a tradition now! Delicious espresso and pastries and a nice selection of Italian pantry items.”

“We went here just before 9pm and were delighted to know that they still serve bingsoo so late at night! The bingsoos are a little more expensive than the ones at the cafe across the street, but the ice cream scoop is bigger, the standard is consistent and the service was much more efficient. Cosy atmosphere as well and the tables are clean and tidy. Dog friendly too. Would highly recommend this place for late night desserts!”

“We had a great experience here. The chicken is absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy and full of flavour. The sauces are amazing, especially the honey garlic and the spicy one. The beer is served in a frozen glass, which makes all the difference and tastes incredible. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, adding to the lovely atmosphere. The place is also very clean and well looked after. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want really good chicken”
