Couldn’t wait to get out and left as quickly as I could. Christmas music on volume 10. Couldn’t hear myself think. Bought less because of it and won’t return. If you didn’t play stupid music you wouldn’t need a PRS license which saves money. Please stop!
It's a good place to shop for groceries with lots of good offers, and very competitively priced. It can sometimes take a while to pay because they rarely have more than one manned till, and only open both sets of unmanned tills when the queues are halfway up the aisles. Parking is free for 90 minutes.
I’ve genuinely never experienced customer service as appalling as what I witnessed today at Lidl Sutton, all thanks to an employee named Krysstal. After paying by card, the machine froze and told us the transaction hadn’t gone through. We then paid in cash instead. Moments later, sitting in the restaurant next door, we checked our banking app and saw the card payment had in fact been taken. Naturally, we went back to the store to clarify. What should have been a simple, polite conversation turned into a display of rudeness, sighing, and dismissiveness from Krysstal. She gave us attitude from the start, saying “it’s not my fault” (which we never claimed it was), refused to give the store number (as if we couldn’t find it ourselves online), and denied us even a basic written confirmation that the duplicate payment would be refunded. Instead of reassuring us, she chose to be confrontational and unhelpful at every step. It was unprofessional, unnecessary, and frankly embarrassing for Lidl. Customers should never be made to feel like they’re being a burden simply for asking about money that left their account. If this is how Lidl Sutton allows staff to treat people, I’d seriously rethink shopping here.
We usually do our grocery shopping at this Lidl and have always been happy with the experience. Our cashier,Brigitta was especially efficient, fast, and kind. She welcomed us with a warm smile and made the checkout process quick and pleasant. Great service – thank you!
Its one of the biggest in the area.. you have a good parking space.. situated near to the high street.. you can find a lot of items at affordable rates..
Good clean Lidl as you expect. As with other stores at the moment some shelves are empty. The middle of Lidl could do with new ideas too
Very quiet in there. Wide aisles. No tills were open as yet, just self serve. Plenty of parking spaces. Get there early no queues
Good old Lidl. Very dependable and good prices. The best croissants can be found here. Pick your fruit and veg carefully though, they can be a bit hit and miss. My 'ready to eat' avocado's never were ready to eat even after 3 weeks!
Such a pleasant atmosphere, calming. Strangely children don' t seem to run around shouting and screaming. Lovely wide isles. Plenty choice of products, at great prices. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Management not scared to open a staffed check-out instead of making us wait so customers will use self check-out.
