Today at 10:26am, went to the desk and the woman server refused to change a 10£ note into pound coins. I decided to make this post so the higher management is aware. Please don’t let this happen.
Do not go to this Sainsbury's there is so many problems here and so much bad technology and staff members don't know what there doing so highly don't recommend this stop ever.
Brought two gift cards and it doesn't work. They gave me receipts but Google said it wasn't activated. I went to solve the problem and even I showed the proof of purchase and the screenshot and pdf discussion with Google refused to help me and send me to call Google or customer service. Think well before you choose to buy there!it might be you the next which loses money and peace!
It's a shame that the actions of a minority of staff impact my overall experience at this branch. Some staff are very helpful and polite. However, at my last visit a member of staff decided to intentionally bump into me (Napoleon syndrome) and keep walking without saying a word, despite me giving ample space and moving to a side. Being the more mature and bigger individual I carried on without giving the little man the satisfaction of a scene, as he seemed so pathetic. Will no longer visit in future to be honest. (Edit - visited on Thursday 11th August at ~8pm)
I love Sainsbury's Local. A great place to get some basics like bread, milk, eggs, magazines, fruits, crisps etc. But for the latest and fancy items you've got to head to the bigger stores as they stock it. Some nice bargains at the end of the day.
Shopping with my profoundly Autistic son can be a real challenge particularly he has a huge obsession with receipts. Last week the most amazingly kind member of staff made my day by noticing I was struggling and helping with my son as I tried to shop. She even printed off multiple receipts for him. Just lovely. I live on a bit of a knife edge and Even the smallest interactions can make or break my day. So thank you so very much. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name but hopefully someone will pass this on.
My go to place for shopping! I am very forgetful and always forget to buy many items. This place is excellent because it’s so handy and convenient, especially when I quickly need to buy alcohol for a party. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, they always go the extra mile to help the customers out with a smile. Would highly recommend :)
