Awful place! Grubby, slow service, flu jab was 15 mins late and was slow to administer, seemed to struggle with procedures. Will never go again. This is the carpet that welcomes customers!

Can highly recommend for ear wax removal..everything explained thoroughly. Completely pain free procedure. Super efficient, friendly and caring staff.

Went for a flu jab but was a little concerned that the sharps bin seemed to be overflowing and there was tops of syringes on the floor. Staff were pleasant enough but I would have expected a more tidier and cleaner clinical environment for giving vaccinations.

I had flu and Covid jabs this afternoon. Both were neatly administered on time. So far I've not had any discomfort or side effects. So, all good.

Grateful to receive the vaccine but the experience wasn't ideal. Although it was a 9.15 appointment there was already a queue of at least 4 people ahead of me, at least one other person had the same appointment time as me, and we were left to wait standing, which is difficult for me due to arthritis. Three members of staff were virtually tripping over one another to retrieve vaccines from confined spaces, trying hard to deliver services but it felt chaotic and disorderly. The pharmacy itself looked a little grubby too, if I'm honest. Not the best experience and will go elsewhere in future.

I came here for about 7years but it has changed so much for the worst. Lot of confusion , stressed staff , carpet looks unhygienic. I had to wait for a prescription to be released nearly 2weeks whereas I told it will be done instantly. Other time I was waiting about a month when they told me they can't deal with it . No more txt reminders of prescription ready to collect. Although some of the staff are nice but you can tell they are having a hard time that impacts their customer servicing skills or they are not just not bothered anymore

Shocking service . Rude staff . Staff get snotty when they are pulled up on their shocking service. Will not be using this pharmacy ever again . Moving to a better pharmacy away from this shocking 3rd rate service.

I visited this pharmacy once the one time I visited York a few months ago. I can’t remember her name but the pharmacist/pharmacy assistant on the counter had a good (but not inappropriate) sense of humour as I came in with a huge haematoma on my arm and was unsure what to do as it wasn’t painful it was just huge and lumpy. When she saw it she was just like “Wow. What is that?! Has a snake poisoned you!” As it was literally just the biggest and weirdest thing on my arm that had come from a bad reaction to a cannula that had been in my arm the previous week in an inpatient stay. She was very helpful recommending some specific products to ease the swelling but not to use ibuprofen gel as even though it’s an anti inflammatory it could also cause it to bleed and hence swell more (I would have by default have just used ibuprofen!). It was a much nicer experience than some of the nurses and doctors I had seen earlier that day at minor injuries who had basically just been like “just leave it alone. You’ll be fine” whilst ignoring the discomfort I was in and just sending me away. I am now moving to York and will definitely be making this my go-to pharmacy for my repeat meds :)

Not sure what has happened to this place. I've been using it for years and always had efficient helpful service. Even throughout the pandemic until now it was the case. But the last three lots of repeat prescriptions have taken more than two weeks and had incorrect items that took even longer to sort out. Maybe they're under pressure due to GPs not doing so much now, I don't know, but a pharmacy taking over two weeks to fulfill a routine repeat and still getting it wrong is not a pharmacy I wish to spend money in.

The whole team of staff are so incredible eager to help. They volunteer useful information without me even having to ask for it. I would feel confident to go to my branch in York if I was feeling unwell as opposed to making an appointment with my GP in the first instance.
