   ❌ ⛔️⚠️STAY AWAY! Indian lady that was behind the till at lunchtime Sun 10 Aug ‘25 is the RUDEST shop cashier I’ve ever come across in my life. The sheer arrogance, rudeness and revolting attitude she has is ludicrous. I make an effort to be kind & have manners with everyone — it’s clear she could not even spell manners, let alone tell you what manners are. Rudest shop cashier ever. DO NOT COME HERE!

   Found out after paying that the sausage roll and Cornish in the “hot” cabinet were actually stone cold. My fault for assuming it was switched on, but I was in a rush to catch a train. Upon asking if I could safely eat the cold food (that had meat in it) I got a blank stare and what I think was a yes…. But I was still unsure. The quality was awful: very stale and damp. To top it off, it’s an overpriced shop. Avoid.

   Yet another London shop which won't take my newspaper vouchers. This time came up with long winded story they can only submit 50 vouchers at a time which seemed very odd as my local newsagent certainly isn't Suspect they thought id buy a paper anyhow Certainly will never return

   Very poor (rude) customer service. Visited here with my mother who is blind and has a guide dog. Upon paying we were told dogs were not allowed here. I kindly explained that he is a trained guide dog and is legally allowed access in all public places. I found this experience very shocking coming from Wales where guide dogs tend not to be denied access yet near paddington station in London visually impaired people are discriminated. Would not recommend.

   Super rude cashier on Saturday 27th at 21:30. Went to buy bottled water, picked one marked as 1,19£ (and I am sure it was the right one, I checked on purpose) and she told me it was 1.99£. I tried to ask her where it was the 1,19 one (with difficulties because I'm not fluent) and she didn't let me talk repeating rudely three times "1,99£". I left the things there and told her to listen to people first and left. To the rude cashier: honey, I am Spanish, not dumb or deaf. If you ever find yourself in my situation I hope you don't get treated the same way you treat tourists when they are trying hard to speak your language. It's not my fault if you don't like your job, maybe you should choose another one.

   I would give them ZERO if I could. Some idiot cashier didn't know what was included in the meal deal and so kept arguing that I should pay more. When he discovered he was wrong, he refused to serve me and made me wait for someone else to open a new till for me to pay. I repeat, the man is an idiot. So is the security guard, but I can't be bothered to explain that story. There's a Tesco Express a couple of minutes away (on New North Road). They have better food, better deals and competent staff. Go there instead!

   If I could give zero stars I would. Watch out the staff will cheat on your money of you 're not careful! Happened to me twice! Last time I ever stepped into that shop. Just because people don t say nothing once doesn t mean that 're stupid and will shut up when it happens again. AVOID. I was charged £8 for a snall pack of cigarettes.

   This is the supermarket chain with the greatest deals in London. All the goods you can find in the store are absolutely fresh and reasonably priced. They have a saving calculator in their website, which will show you how much you could potentially save by choosing some of the goods which are currently on offer. Five stars for Budgens!
