   Sadly, I have just been in the Barnet Branch, selected my goods and went through the checkout. I actually only had a £50 note on me and the girl just said 'we don't accept £50 notes - company policy'. I said excuse me ? She reiterated her company policy. What could I do ? I just tipped the contents of my bag out and left the store ! There should be someone in there competent enough to check the validity of Bank Notes. £25.25 sale gone from them today !

   The range is fairly limited and quite a bit of space is given over to clothing, whereas I usually go to the pound shop for household, DIY and similar items. Other branches have a larger range. Edit: since my original review, the amount of floor-space given over to clothing has reduced, and they have pulled out the dreaded self-checkout tills, with consequential improvements in the service.

   The checkout staff was busy laughing and joking around. When I asked for a receipt, no response. When I asked again, she said I am getting it. I guess I need to have the ability to read people’s minde to shop here. Next door Savers, much better service which I should have stay with.

   not trying to be a hater, i know this place has just opened but the fact i saw a broken shelf- days after it had opened- it also seems extremely unorganised, staff have no clue what they are doing. but yet, this place has just opened, so i may be judging too early.
