“A great place!!! Fast, friendly, great product at a great price. I’ll be back next time I’m in London. Thank you”
“Great little local wine and beer shop. Can't really comment on the wine but their range of beer is excellent. They stock Beavertown beers (including the seasonal beers) which are my favourite so I'm happy!”
“This is a good store in there and this store providing all most all things nice and good provide every things”
“Good ole Waitrose. Got everything you need albeit I don’t do my full weekly shop there. Grab a few bits and a free coffee and always good service from the staff. Highlights for me are Fish Friday, bakery discount in the evenings, wine selection and top quality meats and veg for when you are cooking something special.”
“Lovely place, peaceful umbience and civilised crowd.”
“We had an issue with an online order whereby Screwfix took the transaction but with no confirmation email. Courtney (the manager of the New Barnet shop) went above and beyond to help us investigate this matter and provided excellent customer service in helping us buy a new garden hose. Thank you!”
“Under hot weather, this supermarket is extremely good for ppl to go in to enjoy air conditioners and shop for cheap groceries.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff.”
“Neat and tidy, very nice people and always puts a smile on my face every time i go. Would recommend to others to take a look.”
“Sometimes selection is not great but fine for essentials”
“The friendly new owners have kept the quality fruit & veg and the Greek/Cypriot faves. But they've added a really well selected range of quality foods to the mix, including plenty of stuff from small local producers. You can now buy excellent sourdough, Union coffee and hard to find ingredients like Thai basil. This is a new business that deserves local support!”
“First time at this little gem & will definitely become a regular! Service & food was impeccable & couldn’t be faulted even if I tried!. At the end of our meal the chef even came out and greeted each table to ask how everything was which I thought gave such a personal touch & was very appreciated. The atmosphere & vibe was very cozy. We arrived at 6pm and didn’t leave until 9pm (even though we finished eating at about 8pm) simply because we felt so relaxed and comfortable. Thank you The Old Paparazzi - we will be back soon”
“A new supermarket for us, no doubt that this will be our new favorite shop. Ismat & Hamed are very kind and friendly. Their service is excellent, the shop is extremely clean and well maintained. They're always open to feedback from customers.”
“Fabulous local deli. They have served the local community with great deli food and groceries for many years. Ignore any bad reviews regarding surly staff. This is a family owned business who work hard to serve the various communities in the area . I am a genuine local resident so believe me you will enjoy shopping in Cockfosters Deli who have worked hard to survive against competition from the big national brands invading our high streets including Cockfosters. We need local businesses like this and need to support them”
“Very nice shop, you can buy all kind turkish, Greek, Balkan, Middle Eastern.”
“Excellent store with a wide variety of goods! Found whatever i need here”
“Great Corner shop. They have everything you need when you need it. Provide great bespoke service.”
“Amazing little corner shop. Crazy to think they stock literally everything. The older gentleman is so kind and funny”
“Great place to shop. Plenty of parking and good pricing and space in store”
“Great shoo such vaiety lovely staff”
“East Barnet's oldest continental supermarket. A riot of foods under on roof. Olives, flatbreads, fruit and veg, meat and oil. One of the reasons I bought a gas barbecue (at which they'd sneer!). Try the kofta mince.”
“Love to see everything you need for diy is here, and for quite a reasonable price”
“Having grown up around this area of North London and loving cuisine from the Mediterranean. Now in Suffolk, we pop into Fio's on our way home from visiting relatives every time. Our go to section is the bakery which sells different types of fresh bread, pastries and baklava. You can buy most Turkish and Greek style foods here so recommend it. Products are always well stocked, everything looks tidy and clean. Staff also friendly.”
“Great little shop with very helpful staff. Ordered lots of fresh home made food for Christmas, which was delicious!”
“Nice place very local to me love going up there love seeing jimmy nice fella”
“Amazing selection of spirits and wines”
“Overly helpful and happy staff. I've had 5 different staff members on different occasions go above and beyond to assist me whilst shopping. Maybe its my age or I have a sign on my forehead that reeds 'Needs Help' but in any case this is a good place to do a quick shop on the way home from work or take some time and look around the department store for other items. Quite a different story in the cafe above though so be warned.”
“Excellent availability fruits and vegetables! Bakery is also superb, but bread/rolls should be in paper bags not plastic.”
“What a joy it is, shopping here! It's not just the expert advice, it's not just the calm and happy service, and it's not even just the amazing bargains - it's the personalised assistance. The way they suggest that if you liked that bottle last time, you might like to try this one. And they're almost always right! I just love this shop.”
