Not really a fan of food on the sidewalk, but it's the trend since quite a while. The actual shop is OK though.

Went to the new Barnet Food Market Sunday 25 June especially to support business in our local area. It was disappointing as only 5 stall holders were there as we were leaving another had just arrived it was well after 12pm when we arrived. The prices were expensive considering the quality was 50/50. Bought £40 worth of food on one stall only to have thrown practically all of it in the bin on arrival home it tasted terrible, actually bland. I hope that Sunday gets better in terms of stall choices and quality.

Not the largest market in the world (hence dropping a star - it needs more space!), but a good range of food stalls - some always there, others more ad hoc. There's always a great selection of fresh fruit and veg at good prices, tasty hot food, some great deli options, and freshy baked bread (the Wednesday baker in particular is superb), a butcher on a Saturday, a fishmonger most of the time, and occasional surprise additions. (I do miss the falafel stall, though - that was truly excellent.)

Lovely to see this market in Barnet at weekends. Just got some top coffee and the bread stall looks amazing

Too cramped, closes too early. Perhaps if went back to old site that has stood empty for at least 7 years, traders will be more inclined to go until later in day and may encourage more traders

All what you really need you get there at reasonable prices. A fish monger, two fruit and veg stores, a butchers and a bakery stall is the usual attraction. I would recommend to come early otherwise Tyrone's Fruit and Veg store will be busy and the line is massive

I discovered Barnet Market just b4 Xmas 2020 and love it for its quality veg&fruit at fantastic prices and fishmongers for their customer care and friendliness and super produce plus the artisan breads. I am back there at least 3times a month and recommend it highly. One thing is kinda missing :coffee seller yet I get one from very friendly cafe inside the shopping mall.
