   Great deli! The place is always clean and well-kept, showing they really care about hygiene. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make every visit a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

   This is a nice deli it offers a lot of nice foods from many places. It’s got nice quality of foods and generally a nice place and I love some of the snacks here expecially the Greek chocolates and covered fruits. Sometimes it CAN be a tad overpriced so it’s 4 stars instead of 5. But other than than it’s REALLY nice. I 100% would recommend to anyone

   Fabulous local deli. They have served the local community with great deli food and groceries for many years. Ignore any bad reviews regarding surly staff. This is a family owned business who work hard to serve the various communities in the area . I am a genuine local resident so believe me you will enjoy shopping in Cockfosters Deli who have worked hard to survive against competition from the big national brands invading our high streets including Cockfosters. We need local businesses like this and need to support them

   I pass by here after attending the synagogue. I have picked up bagels from here three times and each time after a 20 minute drive home the paper they use to wrap the bagel gets attached to one side of the bagel, meaning I have to discard one side. The product itself is nice but let down by this inconvenience. Please fix this. Greetings, Vared Vadham.

   Great Jewish style Deli. Has most of every thing you would expect. Bit expensive but so is everywhere these days. Parking patience needed. Whats on tin is what u get.

   I have been a customer of Cockfosters Deli for well over 30 years. In fact my son went to school with the previous owners daughter and I was quite friendly with the previous owner, went out with the kids few times. Unfortunately about 6 weeks ago I had a batch of salt beef which I found to be chewy, I called the shop as I was unable to get back there for a week or two, I believe I spoke to the owners son and he appeared to doubt that there was a problem with the beef. I would not make this up, been using this shop as I said for over 30 years. Unfortunately this weekend I had the same problem, chewy!! I called them first thing Monday morning and again the owners son appeared to doubt what I was saying. However, he told me to bring it back which I did. There was the owners son, plus the older guy who usually serves me, and a female. The three of them tasted the beef and said there was nothing wrong with it, well there was, to me it was chewy and tough. The female was e extremely rude and was kind of taking the pi** out of me, in my opinion!! She was smirking!!!! The older guy was ok, he was being nice. So they all stood there tasting the beef, the trio. How humiliating. And why would they want to do that, eat meat that has been in somebody else's home and obviously touched by them. As I said the female was rude and taking the pi**. What a shame because the older guy and George are lovely people. What a way to treat a long standing customer, it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, nearly as bad as the beef - pun. Yes I got a refund but that will never compensate for the way the female spoke to me. I think she said she was the son's wife but I do not really care. So sorry George, you are a good guy. Re Pete’s response asking me not to return to his shop, REALLY. - I WOULD NOT HAVE RETURNED. ARE YOU FOR REAL!!
