Interesting to read that there are many reviews expressing the same complaints as me now and have had a bad experience with the same staff. One of the salespersons (Deaf and nonverbal) has been shockingly rude and physically aggressive with us, too. He rudely kicked us out of the store when we told him our annoyance at the bad treatment he gave us. The most incredible thing is that the manager justifies his behavior because of his disability. But there is no justification for being rude to customers and even less in front of a baby and a woman. I hope Sainsburys will address this behaviour asap..

Some of the staff here have severe attitude problems, and the level of customer service is shocking! Wake up, Sainsbury's. You need to train staff before unleashing them on the public. What a disgrace!

One of the salespersons (the deaf bald guy) has been shockingly rude and physically aggressive on a couple of occasions now. I hope Sainsburys will address this behaviour asap.The store is in a convenient location and open until late, so it's a shame for the community (I've been here 15 years). Very interesting to read that other reviewers have had an equally negative experience. Can't be good for his staff either.

They deserve minus stars bought croutons from here and they were expired in April. This is so bad, the service from Anand was like were a nuisance. They are tarnishing the Sainsbury brand. I will never ever go to this place

Made a mad rush mid shift to this sainsburys local in the eve of Mother’s Day, the security guard was brilliant, showed me the flowers, even picking out the best ones, showed me the cards and everything, never dealt with a better security guard anywhere! The shop was full, no costa but alas a coffee machine for meal deal

Staff there are always very nice, really helpful and always up for a chat which makes the whole experience a lot nicer. In this day and age though I must admit that it’s incredibly expensive compared to the likes of Lidl and Aldi. They’ll probably argue that their products are better but they’re not. As a Local, why not sell Sainsbury’s own brand products rather than the most expensive branded. Just a suggestion!

If there is minus score, I'd vote for them -100. A bald black male staff stopped me rudely and accused me of stealing when I used smart shopping and paid by apple pay. If you can not trust customer to pay by smart shopping then you should get rid of the service. I showed him my apply pay transaction and the only reply from him. Oh! you can go now. NO APOLOGY!!!!
