Security guy closed the doors in front of my face, even though I came 5 minutes prior closing, just needed to grab a drink.

Honestly if I could give half a star i would. The stores a joke, selling food past the sell-by date and refusing to reduce or refund customers one they've realised the dinner will be gone off because the store themselves different label the items properly. And the team leader all the young man who claims to be a storm manager at the age of 18 is overwhelming under qualified and unprofessional. No one else in the store knows how anything is run without checking with 3/4 other staff members first. I'm good for bed you need managers assistant she'll be waiting for over 30 minutes because he'll refuse to come upstairs due to him being on his break. And if you're doing a click and collect expect to be waiting 30 to 45 minutes as well. Sorry to say but The shops run by a bunch of bumbling buffoons. There's no way they've all been trained accordingly.

This is my local Tesco Express and I absolutely love this store. It is extremely convenient, well stocked and is open until 11pm. The staff are great, full of banter and well equipped to answer any questions and can assist with any help you may need. Sathees is particularly exceptional and always on hand to deliver the best customer service and shopping experience possible. It is always A pleasure dealing with him as he is genuinely A credit to the store itself. Thank you for serving the community well Tesco Lupus street. See you all soon.

Super rude staff, I was judged about all my purchases and it was very uncomfortable but still youβll find what youβre looking for, itβs your generic tesco!

Would give a zero if I could. Rude, heartless, and unhelpful. Been coming here for the last 6 years, always entering the shop with my scooter. Today, almost at the tills, was approached by a rude security guy telling me to leave my scooter outside the shop. I explained I had problems walking and needed it to be able to stand upright and do shopping. Compete disregard for other persons suffering, he started blocking my way trying to make me go back towards the exit. I shouted at him to get away from me and stop blocking my way but unfortunately he did not understand and walked at me trying to intimidate me. The previous security person was much better at handling customers and actually looked after scooters left inside the shop and not expecting people to leave their possessions outside where they might be stolen.

This shop is perfectly optimised to be the most stressful shopping experience possible. If you have time just go to the Sainsbury's on Wilton Road, or the grocer a few doors down. The place is far too cramped, and clearly there is such high demand that the staff are having to constantly restack the shelves from the cages which take up space so you can't get around easily or browse. Because of where it is it also means there's usually a lot of people in there too, so you're constantly shuffling around for people. They seem to be taking deliveries 1 out of every 3 times I'm there and they come in the front door creating carnage. The choice of items to stock is also mental - in this store the size of an 18 yard box where you can rarely get everything you need anyway can you buy garlic in ones? Nope! Threes? Nope! In packs of like 20 (pictured) and that's all you can get. Also, never had so many problems with self service tills as I have had in that place, and sure others feel it to because there's always a long queue for the tills and you can walk right up to the self service tills - but only those who don't know, or have 2-3 items do. The staff are fine - every bit of the problem with this place is Tesco's choice. Unless I'm in a rush, I walk to the Sainsbury's on Wilton Road and now use the grocer a few doors down. You'd think Tesco would have put them out of business, but guess plenty of people still feel the need to use it. Awful. It's got 1 star cos I can't give it no stars.

It's chaotic, messy, grubby, half the stock is on the floor in boxes or in cages blocking the aisles at least one of the self service tills is usually in a boot loop. The staff soldier on, it's open late handy for late night milk.
