   Until this year, I would have given at least 4 stars. The staff are friendly and the shelves are well stocked. Recently however it's a war zone. Very frequent episodes of aggressive shop lifting makes for an unnerving and unpleasant experience and I'm going elsewhere. Get some security Tesco or bad things will happen!

   I am horrified - I have bought this today and I am pretty sure it is off - the packaging wasnt secured and the cheese was soft already - I’m pretty sure that is a 5th of may. The taste was disgusting. As a Camembert lover this was horrific.

   IMO, 2 stars is generous. Worst Tesco Express I've been in - staff have been lovely whenever I go in, however it is very under-stocked with some strange selections for what is held in store. It's very unfortunate because Highgate could really do with a good supermarket. Unfortunately, this is not it.

   Has been through a major refurbishment in Nov 2023. Looking very nice now, and products on the shelf more reflecting the neighbourhood. Staff are always working hard, filling shelves. Yes - still a bit cramped, and range/choices will not satisfy everyone, but what else can you expect in a small store?

   Chaos, smelly chaos, either needs to close down or someone with half a brain needs to be brought in to rethink the space. Why are they giving over a huge section of prime retail space to granny magazines and newspapers, or the “gift” section where you can buy boxes of chocolates? Seeing as they rarely have enough space for even the most basic groceries I think this might be a start. Also, without sounding snobby, this is Highgate village and you’re missing a trick by not selling EVEN ONE dark chocolate option. A real clown show.

   It's an express Tesco not a Mega one so expect you might not find everything you're looking for but most of the time I go there because I need few things. Staff are friendly and they do their best to help customers.

   This place is an absolute shambles. Never in my life have I been to a worse supermarket. I used to go there daily, and even then the place was constantly breaking down, it would have flooding incidents in the middle of summer! More recently, the constant lack of stock just shows the shoddy standard that they have there coupled with food not even being refrigerated and left there for days. In fact the smell got so bad that I remember the staff standing by the door for fresh air complaining about the stink. Honestly it deserves to be shutdown.

   What a shambles. Poorly stocked. Fridges completely empty Basics unavailable. Queued for ages at unattended till at front of shop to pay. Finally gave up and left. Waste of time. This high street deserves better than this! (Had to give one star to post this. Deserves no stars!)

   Very well stocked but really small very crumbed very difficult to maneuver through the shop. Impossible if you have a wheelchair or a pram. The staff is very polite but very buzy and by the time you reach the till the queue is so long that they just want to get the customers out of the shop as soon as possible and don't have time to answer questions. There are always packaging and rubbish on the floor but I feel that there is not enough staff on the floor.
