I had a problem today with an online order and had to go in to the store to sort it. It's a difficult time for me as my husband died recently and I was quite upset at the time. Caroline, one of the click and collect Managers, dealt with me, and i wanted to acknowledge her kindness. She was so helpful and patient with me. Also mention to Reese, who also offered assistance and help when I was tearful. It made such a difference. Thank you.

Decent supermarket with a good range. Nice to have 3 hours free parking, though wish the parent and child spaces were all in one place and better signposted.

Great choice of food and drink. Good value. Don't like their mince meat though. Horribly packaged and nothing like mince you get from a butcher's.

Plenty of parking underground. Availability a little patchy- especially fresh meat. Otherwise generally well stocked and has friendly staff.

Car ark so full we had to drive round twice looking for a disabled space. Don't have a problem with that - they're popular and busy on a Saturday afternoon. What was really annoying though was there being only 4 tills open at such a busy time, with queues so long and my 91 year old Mum to consider that I opted for the self checkout. But there were no facilities for a trolley, so very squashed there. The machine asked me to 'place your bag' etc but the minute I did, asked me to remove it. The Assistant was pleasant enough but of no assistance at all, saying I had to put all the items through THEN pack them. So I had to do that, with items falling off the ledge as I piled them on without a bag. Twice, as I'd bought shopping for Mum and for me.

Relaxed shopping experience. Lots of concessions i.e. Habitat, Tu Clothing (very reasonably priced), Timpsons and Argos - everything nicely displayed - its how supermarkets should be and didn't feel like a low end discount supermarket, which a lot do these days even when they are not.

Good range of Tu clothing and I like the Habitat range. Always find something interesting there. I did Click and Collect at their Argos dept. Didn't realise there was a large Sainsburys in Warlingham! I've been travelling to the Purley, Croydon one which is bigger but much further to travel, unless I'm going to Ikea etc!

Well it's been a few years since I visited Sainsbury's having been abroad and visiting the supposed budget stores. A nice surprise , a clean and tidy shop with clothes, household goods and an Argos collection point virtually everything required. The more important thing was there were plenty of good offers without members discount and the fruit and veg was fabulous. The imperfect fruit and veg was great and good value. To top it up the vegan selections throughout the store were huge in all areas so another bonus. I'll go again an enjoyable visit and last ! Toilets.
