   Terrible service. No one manning the self service so if u require age verification you’re just left. Ended up waiting so long that I just left my shopping there

   The baskets were atrociously dirty , they looked like they had been left in a rubbish truck for a month. I saw bird poo, about 1cm of black grime and strands of hair stuck to chewing gum all in different baskets. Lots of very sketchy customers Will avoid where possible

   Everything is good except the consistency of fresh product quality which is what I mainly buy. Why are almost all the chicken and beef expiring the next day? I wasted my money because the meat smells rank and it wasnt even discounted. Used to be a good convenient shop but its going downhill for some reason.

   Staff are ignorant, asked for a bag numerous times as there are none by the self checkout and are behind the main till. Paid for the bag, asked once again the man at the self checkout for one to which he said he would grab, only for him to leave me standing there for who knows how long. Ended up having to leave without a bag and my arms full. Very inconvenient, won't be back.

   Only reason I am given 5start is due Anna at the bakery section place is bit small and crowded however Anna was great she was so quick at dealing with the bakery I was able to get in and out in no time. Bake goods always fresh

   Not far from East Croydon train station. This store is very convenient for grabbing a few items for either travelling or heading home from work. There's enough choice of product to accommodate most tastes.

   Sainsbury local a small place with limited and selected options. This is handy being near to residential buildings, train station and hotels. They have self checkout and very helpful staff always ready to help

   Very small even for the Local type. Their bakery section is very often out of stuff, especially croissants / pastry items. And if they have them, they usually burnt (probably that's why they available). They added extra self-serve checkouts which is good but it is really a tight squeeze.

   My wife moved to Croydon two years ago and use this shop everyday. There is a constant flow of people all day in this store and can get very busy at times, especially lunch time and rush hour. The staff are lovely and they seem to genuinely get Along with each other. They have a reasonable amount of stock and always handy that they are open until 11pm. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work!
