   When I mentioned in passing that I wanted to make a rhubarb cake, the proprietor promised he would personally acquire some fresh rhubarb, and then video-called us from the wholesale market the following morning, brandishing the rhubarb and checking he was buying enough stalks.

   Not shopping here again. Was just charged 99p for either a cucumber or a single red onion. Prices are never clearly posted and seems like whenever you go to the till the prices for each item goes either. Every price seems also higher than most of the other shops in the neighbourhood. Not shopping from here again.

   In the light of COVID it's one of my favourite places to shop. Those guys are polite and are taking precautions seriously. Unfortunately I suspect it's far more expensive than mainstream options even with all the weird brands. I don't mind so much if they have me an itemised receipt at the end or at least put the effort to price everything visibly. 3 stars because a shop can easily and inexplicably be 30-50% more expensive than expected.
