   I've been to this Tesco Express store about 5 or 6 times this year (2025) and all the staff I've met are always polite, friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked with Tesco-branded products and big name brands, the prices are fair and well displayed with prices, there is always a parking space available and the ATM machine outside is well-maintained. They always give me my purchase receipt without me needing to ask for it and they always ask if I have a clubcard (other Tesco Express stores need to learn from this team here). 5 stars.

   Never thought I could have a bad experience at a Tesco. From the moment I walked in all the staff seemed in a mood; floor staff pushing past you without an apology, till staff throwing their hands in the air and sighing because you went to them instead of self-checkout and a security guard far too nosy and screaming at me to scan the bag while I'm fumbling on my phone for my clubcard. I just wanted to do some late night shopping not end up at a circus.

   Food in reduced section with no stickers. Take it to the counter, oh we don't do them till 2 o'clock......then are they there? Honestly such poor customer service. There were also other items already stickered..so that was a lie.

   Worst tesco! They always open late and close early. Over the past 20 years that i have been coming here the staff have become extremely discriminatory, specifically the Indian men as soon as they see a POC enter the store they follow you around everywhere and stand behind you at the self checkout observing everything you do, Which I experienced this morning with my black partner. I accidentally selected “add your own bag” thinking it added a bag and the Indian man started screaming at us that we were “stealing” and to pay for the bag, instead of just letting me know politely that I did it wrong.

   There are two Indian men who work there and they have the worst customer service you can imagine. Really disgusting behaviour profiling people in the shop. They act like they own the shop, they should be ashamed of themselves

   shut early every single time i’ve tried to go in the store. i needed a lemon, a singlular lemon but they wouldn’t let me in. it was 10:50- store ‘shuts at 11’.

1. Always Authentic ★★★☆☆

   Some staff members profile you and they open up late a lot, usually between 5/10 minutes also close early probably about 10 minutes which can be frustrating at times.

   When you enter the isle layout dictates you turn left. Fine. But they keep the baskets to the right of the door. So you have to awkwardly walk into people leaving. Other than that it's ace.
