   Absolutely dreadful, just like their other store in Penge. Both think it is acceptable to sell food items with a day before and on the day of it's "use by" date. These are food items that would have had a 1-2 week shelf life. Good practice is to reduce the price with a sticker on it, so customers are aware of this very close to expiry date, or you could place such foods on a separate shelf. When I asked to exchange an item (hummus) I purchased the night before it's use by, the manager thought he was giving me a lesson in saying hummus was no different to a sandwich in regard to the expiry. Well my dear this is "WRONG". Sandwiches are purchased to be eaten on the day, or at a push the next day. Sandwiches have a much, much shorter shelf life than a tub of hummus. My advice is for the staff to learn good customer service and management skills. Customers, please check the expiry date, especially on "use by" products. Dont rely on the staff to act in good faith.

   We have used this store since it opened. Very good selection of fresh fruit and veg. As for the selection of herbs, spices...I am like a kid going into Hamleys. A very good variety of all other foodstuffs. All at very reasonable prices.
