   Date:03.01.25 Time: 8:45Pm. One star because of staff behaviour. While my friends and I were discussing our grocery shopping, a female staff member (Bengali, brown hair) suddenly approached us and began shouting, falsely accusing us of talking about her. We calmly explained that we were not discussing her in any way. Instead of de-escalating the situation, she became more aggressive and verbally abusive. She then made extremely offensive and racist remarks including calling us nonsense immigrants and making other derogatory comments about immigrants and Asian people. This behaviour was humiliating, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable in any professional environment, especially in a public-facing customer service role.

   1star for staff service and guard behaviour they get house issues at work. He’s working today 21st December 2025 . They calling customers idiot stupid and using F word customer was a lady …this guard needs to be change for Sure he need back to class to learn properly how to behave and talk to lady’s without Swearing.All because customer didn’t have respite and she thought instead of westing she will leave there guard how that guy behaved it’s unbelievable. I have a request to manager to check CCTV 20th December 2025 and 21st December 2025.

   I have been using this store for last 25 years but yesterday I made some purchase and paid with debit card in the self checkout and as usual I did not print the receipt. After I came home I realised I bought 4 Jars of wrong type of souses, so I took them back to store but as I did not got the receipt they refsed to exchange them or refund them. (Make sure you print the receipt incase you need them)

   First time I order online delivery today for £50.70 from Iceland received a email saying i have all my items but when the nice new polite delivery driver shaquille gave me two bags i told him some of my items are missing he even went to the van to check for my remaining items and even attempted to call up the store for me I order 19 items in total and only received 10 items and 9 is still missing i even received a text message saying no items are missing I am very disappointed that I now have to chase up stepney iceland. The team members working night shift please check the customer orders are correct especially when I have paid for a service and not received the service that i paid for . The only postive side was the young man shaquille that a very polite and nice manners and good customer and went out his way to help regarding my issues and advice me to call up the store or customer service Now I am not sure If want to order online delivery from stepney icelans again

   Brutal customers i would say, the aisles are on the narrow side and this lady was nonchalantly blocking one for a solid eternity. Being a decent person I circled through the whole section just to be at the other side of said lady.

   Always pushing you to use self service tills. What these employees don't understand these self-service tills reduce jobs. Companies hire less staff and more profits for them thanks to these machines. Why hire more people when customers will use these instead. Self service tills only benefits corporations.

   If I could I would score a 0. Staff are very rude. Store is dirty, fridges are not cold enough. What they call fresh veg is definitely not fresh. Will never return to this Supermarket again, you may pay a little more at Sainsbury, but at least you get quality food that lasts.
