After all the hype and advertising it’s a great disappointment. Hygiene is poor the staff are eating and serving. All the meat or fish bags after being cut have blood all over them so your hands get dirty. The shop itself has not been mopped or swept for a few days by the looks of it. Parking and location are good. Customer service is disappointing. Not only is there no customer service they are also rude and are disrespectful when speaking to customers. There is no smiles or hellos. Prices are the same as any other places in same location some are a little lower but then other products are higher the same tactics everyone uses. Will not come here again. The grass is not greener at Brit bazaar.

We bought sheep mixed meet 5kg but 4kg of the meat was all bones and very very low and bad quality also the fish rupsander and other fish also very bad and very smelly I advise anyone to not go and look for another shop before you go into Brit Bazar, you do not get value for money here everything is bad quality , meat fish, etc Please do go elsewhere as this place is not good and save your money somewhere else. I have made several shops here and each time the food is really bad and not worth anything. Be careful and shop at a different store.

I bought 5 kilos of meat from this shop and was extremely disappointed with the quality. When I got home, I discovered the meat was dirty, covered in wood ashes, and smelled old and unpleasant. This is completely unacceptable, especially for something people trust to be fresh and safe to eat. I love meat, but this experience was very upsetting. Selling food in this condition shows a lack of hygiene and care for customers. I will not be buying from here again and would advise others to check carefully before purchasing.

Great shop. Has its own parking which is a must in East London. The prices are good and there are plenty of staff to help. There is normally always offers in these types of shops in east london. This particular time it was fish that was very good price. It is difficult to get Balacsong hutki chuntney but this place had it. Also had to get bodak noodles for the kids.

We go there frequently never had any issues they have everything we need from meat , fish , vegetables & all other household, fish & meat quality is very good reasonable price. We never had any issues with fish they are high quality. They have all brand basmati rice , big bag of potatoes, onion you can bulk buy. They have carpark which is really good for customers can accommodate up to 30 cars.

Good quantity and selection of products, 5 butchers so the wait time is very short. Large car park which makes it very convenient.

Bought meat from them which was really bad! Mother in law pointed out to the elderly butcher serving me the meats dark and that previously they gave her bad meat that smelt (she took half a sheep) but as she didn't have transport couldn't bring it back (she likes to give people chances and so went back). The guy quickly said no its all good and showed us meat from the top. I stood there briefly and walked away to let him do his job as I had other items to buy (assuming he wouldn’t give me bad meat as its been pointed out). The chops we bought were tiny. Chicken was okay. Mrs asked for β€˜exotic’ fruits only thing I saw was bad mangoes and pineapple. The staff in the front were okay. Directed me to items I couldn't find (layout of shop could be set up better). They need to get better with providing quality products. Seems they have a track record of providing bad quality product. This is just my experience and so wouldn’t say don’t try the place as other’s experience may be different. Just disappointed even after pointing out the meat looks bad he mixed bad meat with some good meat!

Great place to get all your necessary items. Lots of choices and friendly staff. They have their own car park which is great and it's very easy to get to. Becareful when purchasing large sized fish mine was filled with ice which increased the weight

Car park was jam packed today! I’d recommend coming here early to avoid long queues. Shop while the opening sale lasts… Otherwise you’re better off buying from elsewhere. Extremely busy, staff are a bit slow and loud for no reason ( but this is normal I guess if your just starting out?). To improve services, I suggest making the entrance bigger and offering a more friendly welcome. At times it seemed a bit hostile and unwelcoming, customers should feel safe and comfortable when shopping (I did not feel like this ) . 3 stars for now might decrease depending on my mood ;(
