The gyms absolutely brilliant the staff are supportive and the PTS are helpful. The issue I have is the changing room floors in shower area don’t look clean and need to be cleaned more often other then that it is incredible there saunas to pools to hot tubs!

Taking the piss! When I signed up in June, I was not told about a price increase in January! Is the extra charges being put on people to pay for cleaners as that gym and changing rooms are filthy! Floors around the pool are always soaking wet and never seem to get mopped up. Someone is going to get injured soon. Oh and I don’t even know what the Leisure Club Manager looks like. Don’t think he ever chats to people actually using the gym? We hardly ever seen any gym instructors as well.

I joined the Village fitness and well being gym in Bromborough Wirral just in January of this year I use to be a member there years ago but left when I started working out of the area it was always a great place to meet new friends who have a common interest as myself both in the gym and socially in the bar later but I was pleasantly surprised how much better the facilities are now the people that go there now are the same as before new faces but again with same goals fitness and well being as well as socially the staff are very friendly and professional the food in the restaurant is really nice and the sports bar is great for the football and other live events I can’t recommend the place more highly if you like keeping fit and meet new friends

I have been a member of this gym for almost 2 years. It is quite expensive compared to others in the area, but I chose it because it’s close to my workplace and its open early in the morning. Over time, the number of people has increased a lot due to the popularity of the classes, but the facilities have not kept up. There are too few machines, and several are often out of service. The locker system in the changing rooms only works half of then. The men’s changing room has only 2 toilets, which are usually dirty and without supplies. The pool is very small, with just two lanes; most of the time one lane is booked for children’s classes and it becomes practically unusable for training, often with 5 or 6 people sharing a lane. In summary, this gym might be fine if you are looking for a family space for kids’ activities, but if your goal is to actually train, it is not suitable. For the price being charged, much more should be expected: better infrastructure, proper maintenance, and fairer scheduling of spaces. Hopefully, management will take these issues seriously and improve.

Gym is spot on. Classes good. Icebath needs more attention. 50% of the time Ive been signed up it’s been out of use which Ive never experienced with any other Gym with an Icebath. Frustrating as thats a big part of my recovery and well being. Also, pool could be a lot cooler to train and swim in. A few members in the changing room/sauna agree. Few degrees makes a huge difference

Very dirty social in swimming pool - people with shoes mixed with swimmers. Water too warm to do any swim training

Attended a meeting here, heating and air con battling with each other, once room reached a nice temperature the air con would kick in and you'd end up putting your coats on. The coffee served also wasn't great, lukewarm in the flasks by 9.15, the coffee machine at the other end of the building wasnt working properly and ran out of milk. Its a nice enough looking venue, and has lots of good facilities, it appears clean, and there is a coffee shop which may be better than what's offered for the meeting rooms. The pastries were nice, and the staff were helpful. Lunch was provided for us, the veg curry was tasty, the rice wasn't overdone and the chips were chunky and not dry. Plenty of condiments available and good choice of branded carbonated drinks as well as hot drinks.

Costs a bit more than other gyms out there but is a great place to work out and finish off with a swim. Early morning and late evening it is very quiet. Machines have just been updated and are better than ever. You can even mix it up a little bit and have a game of racket ball or squash. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Recently joined after 12 months with another large gym company in Prenton. Kudos to Mark, made me and my partner feel welcome straight away. Facilities are second to non, plenty of room and equipment is new, clean and well maintained. This was the reason for joining, our old gyms equipment was falling apart. We both enjoy its more than a gym, with the squash court and discounts on food. Inside the gym, there’s a nice atmosphere and very welcoming from other users.
