   If you like science fiction and want to experience a supermarket in a dystopian police state for some immersion then I recommend it. Buy some sad off brand chicken in a plastic box with a huge security tag on it and a hello magazine whist being watched by a thousand cameras, and try and get a bag at the malfunctioning robot checkouts, or go to the till and experience the thrill of shopping behind a perspex security barrier that's designed to stop armed robbery, all to the grinding sound of an anti theft barrier alarm that goes off every other exit.

   I was a little shocked to see so many negative reviews about this store. I went in there yesterday to stock up on tubs of Quality Street whilst they were still on Club Card price. I purchased the last ones. I spoke to a male member of staff (I wish I'd taken his name) to enquire about their next delivery. He looked it up and informed me that it would be today. This morning I returned to the store I enquired with a really pleasant member of staff called Nila. She was friendly, approachable and went out of her way to help me. She saught out the additional items I required and also checked for stock numbers at another store. I've always found the staff here to be friendly and helpful :-)

   STAFF ARE RACIST the security who was just doing his job (as the staff told him I was a thief which was false) stopped me and told me to come back into store as I had allegedly stolen a designer perfume and wash set which I had in my hand might I add this is a tesco local which doesn’t sell anything of the sort I had come into Tesco to buy a gift bag for it saw they didn’t sell them and walked out. After they saw my receipts and searched me I got no apology apart from the security guard who expressed his apologies and explained he was just doing as told. The man who accused me had a cheek to tell me to calm down after that embarrassment. Never will I step foot in here again.

   This is one of the best Tesco Express stores in the area. All the staff are pleasant and helpful, even at 7am! It is always well stocked up with a wide range of groceries and everything you'd expect really. The prices are reasonable. The store is really well situated for public transport ( buses etc) and street parking is available though becomes more difficult to find midday onwards. Prior to the Pandemic I rarely used this shop - big mistake it has everything I need and some.

   I won't be using this Tesco anymore. The staff is incredibly rude. They do not care about customers in the slightest, they actually barely acknowledge they have people in the shop. Various times I have been left waiting at the self check-out for assistance for even up to 10-15 minutes, then when finally someone comes, it's normally a person who's huffing and puffing and muttering something under their breath. I do not recommend using this Tesco.

   Open mon-sun 7am - 11pm. Good store for daily essentials. Clean,looked after. With most products always in stock. Offer limited but good selection of flowers. Everything what you would expect from Tesco Express
