Counter assistant staff needs some education and social skills... I would say that an unacceptable behavior is expressed by them. Hopefully that will change after some professional advices from management staff.

Another unscrupulous act, being charged full price for a discounted item, was told that the discounted item is different to the one I got. But look at the picture, it’s easy for you to overlook. It’s a very standard ploy to cheat customers. Beware of such practices at Tesco, it happens quite regularly for me at this store. Very clearly it’s a discounted product, no other price labels for the Andrex 9 rolls.
I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Leona who works in Tesco’s superstore in Lewisham. Leona is a model of professionalism at the highest level and her customer service is simply outstanding. She is kind, courteous, very helpful and patient with her customers. As a regular customer of Tesco’s, I felt the need to share my experience on this occasion as I went shopping with my son and we were both very pleased with the way Leona handled our shopping experience. Big Tesco with clothing, groceries, Tesco mobile, cash machine, toilets, plants, bakery etc. the store is clean and the prices are reasonable. Also the store is located close to Lewisham station..if you are going regularly make sure you get a clubcard. It is worth the savings and it is free. Staff are busy but very helpful. There is a large parking lot, donation point to the food bank and In post lockers.
Last Easter I got locked in the entrance from the car park for an hour. The store was open and I must have been visible on CCTV; I banged on the doors, I called customer services, I even called the police, nothing. I have severe anxiety and had a full panic attack. Eventually I managed to bang the door in such a way that it opened. I wrote to them and contacted them via social media, the store never bothered to get back to me and HQ said it was a store issue so nothing to do with them. I haven't been able to return since.
So upset with my recent experience, once a week I go Tesco and do a very large shop. On this occasion before opening my sandwich filling I noticed the dates on the back! This product has gone off by 10 days and was still packed on the shelf and put out to sell…. Before I went to the service counter I checked the shelf so I could swap it, I was horrified to see that they were all out of date. I received my refund, with no apology that this had happened and was quickly dismissed. Thank you Tesco!!!
I go to Store: 2821 every day after work to buy my dinner but every time the checkout staffs are very rude, that is why the self checkout station always long queue and no people want to go to the normal checkout till. Today 13/02/2023 at 21:15, the self checkout is long queue as usual and I have to go to checkout: 003, there is no people being serviced and the black women staff who with glasses even sitting there playing her phone at such busy time. But when I was politely asking if her till still open, she just glancing at me with an impatient sidelong glance and ignore me. Unhappiness was written all over her face. I have no prejudice against black people and I know many very polite black friends but that was a very rude and very disappointing shopping experience. If the self service checkout station doesn’t have such long queue all the time, I will never come to her again as all other people chosen.
Many products replaced now with cheaper alternative one's. Seen prices growing weekly and hitting the pocket. See people buying full carts to resell in their stores. Shelves with fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs often empty. Not much variety offered in 1 season. Some shelves rearrangement has added confusion and seems to make no sense to put such products next to each other. However staff is always helpful and doing great job assisting people.
Wide range of products and good customer service. They also have toilet for customer and place for used batteries, ink cartridges, water filters
