   Just don’t buy tomatoes or any other prepacked fruit/veg that is not showing a best before date. Light bulbs that don’t work. Incessant stock checking by grumpy old men getting in the way. High prices. Awful overpriced wine. A cash machine with such a faded screen that it cannot be used in sunlight. Otherwise fine for the odd item when you find yourself short. Staff on checkout generally ok.

   Girl at till very rude and full of attitude, I have a sprained arm and needed help with the packing of the bag and she wouldn’t help =. Instead argued with me that she didn’t say she wouldn’t help but did not help. We need to start boycotting these type of shops and shopping where customers service is high. If we don’t take a stand these type of people and shops will never learn.

   Be aware to properly check the labels and expiry so you don’t waste your money - If I could give zero stars, I would give zero. Selling flowers that are dead for £19.99 is a disgrace. My daughter (4yo) wanted to pick flowers to school. Husband paid for them not realising how much they actually were only to find out at home. I called the shop to seek some resolution as those flowers shouldn’t have been for sale to start with. Gentleman didn’t care, he was only after to make a sale. Make sure you check the prices as this shop is overpriced and the flowers are not fresh. Ah well, lesson learned.

   Such a disappointment. It's my local shop and over the years have had my card cloned from the cash machine many times. To make it worse the lady in the shop the other day told me the payment was confirmed. My son went down later and she told him my paymebt esrly didn't go though. Then made him pay for it. If it didn't go though then why did she tell me it did. 2nd. If it didn't she basically just charged my 11 year old of buying a pack of cigarettes. I left it for a while but then complained in the end as I have been charged twice. Dispite the fact she used my son to pay for it and didn't speak to me directly. However I complained in the end and was told I need to come back and deal with it her and the manager. As a regular customer I haven't felt so disappointed and I think from now on I will use the other shop nexr door from now on. Such a shame really. I will be informing my friends to do the same now. Good luck budgens. I'm tiered of being taken advantage of considering I cone in to you every day.

   If there is anything you cannot find at the supermarket, they will have it. It's a small shop, yet somehow they have everything! This is our go to convenience shop.

   When I first went in there they were friendly & said hello & it was really nice but as time went in there is really one older woman that used to be friendly that isn't any more. I think its if your face fits then she will be friendly towards you as I've heard her be friendly to another customer after I've been served. Shame really as it puts you off of going in there as I do like it.

   It's a convenience store nothing else. The customer service is poor , no one talks to you, you can't hold a conversation with no one employed there it's like ice. Prices are high but that's why it's a convenience store at the end of the day.
