Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for one of your employees. I'm a regular morning customer, and there's a lady who works here—I don't know her name, but she always gets my doughnuts ready for me when she sees me coming. It's such a small thing, but it really brightens my day and makes me feel so welcome here. Her friendliness and excellent service are a real asset to this store, and I wanted to make sure she was recognized for it.

This is honestly the worst supermarket on the planet. The staff are rude, lazy, and completely unhelpful. They make customers wait forever and act like they’re being forced to do their jobs. The attitude is unbelievable — no smiles, no respect, no effort. The place itself is a disaster. Messy shelves, dirty floors, and total chaos everywhere. It feels like nobody here cares about anything, least of all the customers. And whoever the manager is — you’re doing a terrible job. You should take a serious look at your team and how your store is being run. Walking in here makes me want to turn around and run straight out. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s not just bad — it’s an absolute nightmare of a supermarket.

Unhelpful staff and rip off prices. I try and avoid this shop where possible. The local Kidbrooke market shop is so much better and cheaper for many products. Coke Zero £1.85 in Sainsbury’s and £0.85 in corner store.

Just as you'd expected, sainsbury's wells dog's very clean shop staff are very friendly when I walk in, I got hello, as always was very nice

This is the most poorly managed Sainsbury's I have ever come across with consistently filthy floors throughout, unhappy staff and shelves stocked with items that no one wants to buy. Old veg, processed foods, cheapest cuts of meat and lots of fizzy drinks. I've tried and simply am tired of having to return to refund my mouldy veg. Very disappointing as this was meant to service the community.

One should always check the price they charge, as quite often it differs from the one below the product. Also they cannot fix the exit door for a few month already. As a result we always have to track back with the push chair to the entrance, which is super inconvenient.

Ok for a Sainsburys local, it's a big size for a local store. A lot of the stuff has quite a price mark-up compared to the large supermarkets. Staff are not the most helpful. Security may put some people off wanting to shop there as they have a preference on who they want to follow around the store and keep a 'close eye' on

I had an issue with a faulty product sold to me my Sainsbury's and had to deal with a very confrontational manager. This person failed to communicate effectively and was quite aggressive in their dealing of the matter. Also lacked basic customer management or issue resolution skills. Given that we have a much larger Aldi with better prices around the corner I will be thinking twice about whether I want to go back to the Sainsbury and deal with their unhelpful staff

Really great store with friendly staff however they are not always fully stocked up with essentials. Some things run out quickly and are not replenished quickly.

It's quite larger for a Sainsbury's local, bigger than the old one before this block was built. Easy to get to on foot but I don't think the carpark is finished yet as it consists of a bloke sat on a chair operating the gate. Car park is underground and accessible from behind the old Sainsbury's. It is signposted, but not well. There are most things you'll need in the store, although like most Sainsbury's locals they won't have the thing you actually want, rather an alternate that doesn't sell well in their big stores, but being captive they'll force it upon you in a local. There are several self service checkouts which don't have scales, so you're not automatically considered a thief and don't need a member of staff to successfully use them. There is a (small) hot food counter that does bacon sandwiches and the like - presumably aimed at the commuter crowd. The lunch/snacks selection is never good in Sainsbury's, but those one is particularly poor.
