Got food poisoning from their wafter thin chicken slices on 28th October 2025 Within 4 hours of eating them with a sandwich. I bought them from the trafalgar road store in Maze Hill. Was supposed to get a pre paid envelope from their head office as i submitted a complaint but to date Ive recieved nothing. Had a day and a half off work and was so sick!!! Bottom line is the company couldnt care less who gets sick from their food

Good range of food, only reason for 3* is because if you are disabled like myself you have no hope in packing your bags with how fast they scan, even when you ask for them to go slower.

Not much selection here, and the prices seem higher than Aldi and LIDL. Also the cashier started scanning our items whilst the previous customer will still packing, resulting in us losing at least one of the items we paid for to the other customer!

I was looking for something different for breakfast and a nice lady told me about crepes, she told me to put one on a piece of toast apparently it's delicious so I will try one in the morning.

***KNIFE FOUND IN GROCERIES*** Was in this store recently with my niece and her toddler, the toddler wanted an apple and ran over to the create where they had bags of potatoes. As im looking at the apples the toddler has found a a Stanley knife in with the potatoes!! She's picked it up saying ouch ouch iv managed to get it out of her hand making sure it didn't cut or draw blood. Her mum now has asked to speak to a manager in which someone came out the impression i got from him he was more concerned if the toddler would show him her hand. Took my nieces details and said they would be in touch this is poor health & safety risk poor customer service skills especially as it was a 2 year old who had found it, luckily she wasn't cut or worse. It has been two days since we visited this store no one has contacted my niece in regards to this situation.

Smaller cheap shop. You can find most of standard food you need. And the service is fine.

Great selection of groceries and ready meals for those days you just can't be bothered to cook. Staff are generally friendly and nice. Store design is quite dated and in need of a refurb but otherwise functional.
