on google it says its open until 11.45 pm got thereat 8 pm and its closed correct details required as I had a 30 minute drive for a wasted journey
Claims to be open until 11:30 and I came at 10:37 from an emergency appointment and it’s a 20 minute drive from my house! Turned up and it was of course closed!!!!
Its ok, can be quite slow at getting your scripts, certain staff quite rude and not knowledgeable. Other staff absolutely lovely though.
I wish we had another pharmacy in gildersome because this is the worst ive experienced. That i have endured this for the past couple years only due to convenience. From terrible customer service to unable to fill perscriptions. The only redeeming quality is the male pharmacist who is great but unfortunately dossnt outweigh everything else.
If you need medication the day it's prescribed, choose a different pharmacy. Even basic stock items like inhalers and painkillers often need to ordered in and they can't guarantee it will even come the next day. Never known a pharmacy to have so little stock!
For many years this was an excellent village chemist, about 18 months ago it started to rapidly go down hill, incorrect drugs being wrongly given against the prescribed ones, 3 week’s delivery for a insulin delivery as they forgot to order it, several family members have experienced incorrect supply of drugs to the prescription and one could of been life threatening, I have therefore changed my pharmacy due to their incompetence and lack of regard for peoples health, it needs closing
Started off great but after a year or more sadly lacking. My husband and myself got our meds on the same day every time, but now a week apart!! It’s really inconvenient! We can’t walk far and don’t have a car. The staff aren’t rude, and perhaps efficient, but definitely NOT particularly friendly at all. I’m sure the brilliant review is a friend or relative. Sickeningly nice!! ‘Too nice’!

Fast service and nice staff. Always go the extra mile with service to ensure medication is delivered and dispensed on time.
Used chemist for many years for late mother. Sean previous chemist was brilliant. Always went the extra mile arranged home deliveries, contacted doctors etc. New chemist very different.
