Canβt believe how Iβve been treated at my local Tesco. Needed to buy a couple things from Tesco after going to the post office/nisa that didnβt have what I needed. After checking out the security guard came over and started pulling things out my bag & accusing me of taking them from here. I pulled up my bank receipt from the shop (nisa), & he proceeded to tell me he didnβt believe me so called a manager over. I told him Iβve proved to him that I wasnβt stealing by showing my bank statement (which I donβt legally have to do) of which he just replied with βyou need to calm downβ. Dismissive, gaslighting & un-apologetic - classic misogynist. Then the manager said basically nothing & nodded for me to leave - what a waste of energy & upset. This left me feeling deeply distressed and upset as someone who has never stolen in their life and works bloody hard for their money. I think Tesco need to rethink who they are worried about in their shops & who they employ as security, Iβll never be going there again.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Tesco Express I had already paid for my shopping, but the cashier loudly accused me in front of others of not paying. Even after checking the tills and printing a receipt that proved I had paid, she quickly hid it instead of apologising. When I showed my official bank payment record, she mocked me, insisted I hadnβt paid, and even rolled her eyes at me. This was humiliating, hostile, and deeply upsetting. As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, being treated this way was extremely damaging. I strongly believe her behaviour was discriminatory and targeted. Tesco should review the CCTV, take this matter seriously, and ensure no other customer is treated with such disrespect and prejudice.

This place is the biggest joke. Anything that sells well they don't restock so you better learn how to stretch out consuming it over the course of a year or you will be disappointed. Don't bother looking at the opening hours as they open later and close earlier than the published hours.. those are just there to gaslight you. And lastly get accustomed to exchanging hand gestures through locked window entrances to floor staff due to emergency maintenance which is scheduled on a daily basis.

this is the worst Tesco - or local small supermarket in general- I have ever been to. They stock almost nothing. It looks like the apocalypse hit this place at all times. Feel terrible for the staff there as they seem miserable and the number of empty shelves is shocking. Y'all remember 2020 when supermarkets had zero stock? Multiply that by three and you've got an average day at this place. Such a shame as this neighborhood has so few grocery stores, I wish they'd give this storefront up to a business that could actually stock it.

Very rude and unprofessional security man at the door . Really they should remove him from the job . I was trying to chose some flowers at the main entrance next to him and he kept looking at me and asking me if i was on and needed any help like I was trying to steal the flowers. Once I said to him that I always pay for my staff and he started being sarcastic

Always opens an hour later than it says it will. Constantly re positioning everything within the store for the sake of it making it impossible to find anything....and that's if by some miracle it's in stock. Fresh produce aisle empty constantly, with some products common to cooking just removed from stock suddenly for no reason for months, then back again, then gone again. Never a shortage of crisps and biscuits, but the obviously popular items aren't given the space or quantity to suit the needs of its regular customers. So often they don't have what you need that it's better to walk further to one of the co-ops instead to save time. Feels like the staff are trying their best but whoever decides what stock to send to this store needs to pay attention to what it's customers clearly need.

This is a time wasting branch of the Tesco brand. As a loyal Tesco shopper, I find it very disappointing and most importantly time wasting to be standing at the entrance of the shop as early as 06:02 hrs and the shop still locked up. One staff member is waiting outside for the next staff member before they could open the shop. If punctuality is an issue, Tesco Express at this branch should look at opening up at 07:00 hrs instead of the advertised and displayed opening time of 6am.
