Should be a sign to tell drivers not to go all the way down. Our car got stuck resulting in us having to call the RAC. Park on Gibraltar Street!!!
Really lovely and quiet place to go for a walk or bike ride (it is part of the TransPennine Trail). A number of waterfalls to see and decent paths that don't tend to get too muddy.
A really nice peaceful walk
Excellent place to chill out and enjoy nature at its best. Part of the Tame Valley it runs along part of the Trans Pennine Trail next to the river Tame. Great for dog walking, cycling or horse riding. If you wanted to visit by car then parking is avaiable on Gibraltar Lane and its close to the Peak Forest Canal.

Started from Gibraltar Lane to Godley turntable. Nice easy flat corridor of greenery with colourful markers along the way.
Nice quiet place running alongside a river with woods and a large open field. We parked down a steep decrepit lane after following Google Maps, and nearly could drive out.
Absolutely my favourite place to come with my children lively walk, nice area to sit and eat our lunch just lovely and most of the time peaceful
Today was my first visit after seeing it recommended on Facebook. Absolutely beautiful place, perfect for walking the dog or having a nice stroll and a picnic. There is also a dog friendly pop up cafe on the Denton side of the river. We will definitely be coming here again in the future.
