   Hyde park is within a short walking distance from the bus station and accessed by foot bridges across the adjacent motorway. There is a play area for children, a wooded area for dog walkers and when you have worked up an appetite the Java station cafe is available for food and hot drinks. There is an active crown green bowling club with several greens and tennis courts. It is also a pleasure to simply walk through the gardens and orchards that produce fruit in the appropriate season.

   A local park I grew up visiting, it's got a younger and older childrens play area lots of walking and dog friendly. It's clearly got lots of people working hard to make it look the best it can but I was shocked at the number of rats I was seeing in my last visit and has well and truly put me off wanting my children to play there and it's such a shame

   Great for walking dogs especially in the woodland area. Has slides, swings climbing frames in the playground. Look out for the Hyde Mela festival which normally happens in August every year.

   This is a lovely park, well laid out and well kept. There’s a bandstand and large viewing area, and lots of interesting features. The range of tree species is impressive. The park takes in a woodland area running both sides of a nearby stream. This can be muddy in wet weather, but is a lovely addition to the park. There’s a nice little cafe - Java - in the park too, with a good range of food and drink at really reasonable prices. Hyde Park hosts a parkrun every Saturday morning starting at 9.00am.

   Lovely park on every season. There are playground, walking trails, ball fields, small carpark, cafe, volleyball court, bowlings green, community orchard and small water stream. I have noticed plenty of squirrels and birds thanks to trees and shrubs. It is worth to come for a long walk, take kids or dog walk. Highly recommend this park to everyone.

   The most beautiful autumn colored leaves and trees. Loved the perfectly mowed down grass. A very good play area for kids. The best we’ve seen near Ashton far. Wish there was someone to pick up the trash though. It’s a beautiful place but people have littered it with takeaway wrappers and paper.

   Hyde park small local park for all to enjoy, with a small play area with swings and a play pit, not only this there is a bowling green for players to enjoy. In addition there is a bandstand for live events. But what attracts me is the wildlife at the park as im a keen photographer and i get plenty of enjoyment.

   Love this place. It's great to get out for fresh air. It's clean. Every one is friendly, all those that we've come across anyway. It's great to spot all the different birds, see the squirrels and even the rats in their natural habitat.
