This is a smallish park, but one which has something for everyone. There are play areas for kids of all areas near the main entrance, then at the top of the hill there are a number of pleasant walks covering both the parkland and the surrounding woods. There was also a traditional ice cream van near the main gates selling proper ice cream, not the whipped stuff, with a 99 being just £2.50.

Only ventured as far as the lower and upper play area with my 6 year. Lots of fun though. Definitely going back to have a wander around the rest if the park

One of Tamesides hidden gems. The main entrance has 2 big open spaces for ball games etc. A young children's play area with a gated sand pit and further up the hill an older children's play area with climbing frames. But the best bit is the public orchard at the top of the hill and the wildlife sanctuary plus a plethora of wild walking paths. Popular with dog walkers (please pick up your dogs waste) and families alike. A good stroll around Cheathams will get the heart pumping and is a joy for the eye. 10/10.

A great park and it would be my favourite place to walk my dog were it not for the insane amount of dogs off lead in there! Its such a shame because it's a lovely place but there are too many people not keeping their animals on a lead.

Everything you need for weekend's walk, picnic or time with kids. Plenty of trees, walk tracks, small water reservoir, play areas.

A lovely green space for families, dog walkers, teenagers, there is a children's park, an older 'monkey' park, it meanders up to the bird sanctuary. Unfortunately no public toilets.
