Today was an unforgettable day. I bought some items at Tesco Superstore at 1 pm. At 1.14 pm, since the self-service area was crowded, I went to a checkout counter and the assistant scanned my items. Then he asked if I had a Clubcard. I said yes and he scanned it via my phone and it was accepted. Afterwards he asked me to show the card. I said, "This is my husband's card; I always shop using my phone," but he wouldn't accept it. I also⦠I left the items and came home. She introduced herself as Lisa... but I'll say one thing: she was not at all polite...

What a terrible experience I had this morning at Tesco. I bought a ladies black jacket went to the self service had to ask so many times to remove the store tag from the jacket and had to show my receipt yet again. Did you really think Tesco I was going to leave without paying!!!!!

Ok, I'll give it a review. It's outstanding....Free parking, coffee shop, toilets, very very helpful staff, more tills than you can point a stick at and 2 assistants on self checkout.....I guess some of you want a kiddies play area ! Only downside is the customers. Can't quite put my finger on it, but ignorant springs to mind. Maybe it's because I'm Scots, but we grew up with manners.... Goes a long way being nice, try it sometime. Maybe if the aisles were a wee bit wider, you could get round with that chip on your shoulder. Have a great day now !

its unfortunate that I have to write a bad review for this Tesco as it was my go to Tesco, its really big, has a lot of produce and also has the scan guns which makes it a lot easier than only being able to go to the tills to be scanned. The staff can be rude, and the people that visit this Tesco's are rude, entitled (especially when it comes to disable parking) and racist. I have had a few racist interactions in this Tesco from older customers and as such refuse to go back. I would avoid unless you want arguments in the car park and snarky racist comments made to you by old people

Had a really disappointing experience at Tesco today around 2:10pm. I asked a staff member (woman wearing a hijab) to remove the tag from a bag I had just bought so I could pack my things, it was a busy day and I just wanted to get my shopping and leave. The till had an error and didnβt print the receipt, but the bag was clearly listed as the top item on the screen. Despite this, she accused me of not paying and was quite rude about it. I felt embarrassed and disrespected. Really put me off coming back.

Tesco Welling- Not reliable at all. I asked to see a manager and in return got a rude response- not professional, staff are not at all helpful. The customer service is awful!

This is a good store, however two observations I have made, one is the security guard at the entrance creates an uneasy feel for shoppers by standing in such an authoritarian manner, people come to shop and have a good time, he should stand on the side or out of sight not in the middle staring people down. Second is, one of the ladies yesterday I think she's European, at the self service check out till, we asked her to come over to authorise a coupon my partner scanned from her clubcard app, she then took it upon herself to ask me to confirm if the bankcard I put in the pay device was mine, I said yes, she then asked if I could show ID for the bank card, I was utterely astonished, we asked her to authorise a coupon on the screen not ID a bank card, i didn't like that she did that in the first instance nor not trust our word, her employer should re train her the remit of her job. I made my view clear to her but will be notifying the store manager in person.

Disabilities/Children/Baby/Parent/ Elderly friendly, Access to Wheelchair, Shopping scooter, Carts, Travelator, Stairs and Lift. COSTA Cafe , Cab Line, Phone shop and Clothing (F&F) a plus point. Very Clean hygenic retail setting with fresh Products, Healthy options, Etc. Busy days (Thu-Fri-Sat) Best time to shop (8.00 -10.00am) (5.00 -7.00pm)
