A cracking little walk out with grandaughter. We both enjoyed walking around the ponds, looking for wildlife. Shame we didn't have our cameras with us. Some very unexpected wildlife spotted, resulting in another visit being planned. But seriously paying it forward to the cafe as they really made her trip out with a special treat. ;) #hiking #cycling #running #fishing #playarea #photography #painting and loads more.

Great park in amongst urban existence. We walked it late 9 pm at the end of May and there were a few teenagers hanging around at 10 in the way out so maybe not for the faint hearted at that time but it was a lovely change from the previous 4 days. A great park for a run.

Lovely place. Very clean especially for a public park. 2 nice fishing lakes which are gin clear. The cafe is very reasonable for a coffee (£1.60) for a proper coffee) bacon butties cooked fresh and lovely, helpful staff and regulars. I'm actually a bit reticent about giving it a good review as it's so good I want to keep it to myself. Current fishing prices: Day ticket £5 for 2 rods £8 for three available from the cafe or the bailiff. Membership is also an option at a very reasonable rate. Enquire at the cafe for details.

I have been going to the clough for almost 50 years. It is a beautiful park and has lovely scenery. Although it is set in the middle of Blackley, it is a hidden gem. Great for long strolls or a good run, it has long paths but plenty if hills if you fancy a challenge. The lake is a great place to see some wildlife- herons, turtles, ducks, geese and swans; the lakeside cafe offers a comforting menu and the staff are very friendly - dogs welcome! We’ll worth a visit!

Gorgeous place. Free parking and a lovely lakeside cafe for lunch. There's a children's play park at the top end too, with a sandpit and closed off play area.

Great for hikes, walks and flat tarmac bike rides. Could do with a mountain bike trail though hence missing one star from me. Nevertheless, it is clean with good hilly elevations to give you a great workout. Also plenty of flat tarmac if you don't fancy climbs.

Nice place to go for a walk and to take kids and dogs. Quiet in the mornings, in general quite clean, not sure what's happening with that green water though. There are some ducks, not too many. The playground is great for kids, from small to a little bigger, plenty to do and space to run around.
