   The school's nice,though I guess it could have room for improv. Having being a student there I say that the teachers are nice,co-operative ,though the children who attend aren't the best of role models.I met a boy who had climbed into another persons' garden and was obviously was trespassing . He invited me though I instantly knew this was the wrong sort of friendship.

   Very disappointed with this school. My child has learning difficulties and I admit he's not the quitest child within the school but the way he has been treated is diabolical. My son had someone come and assess him for the school to work with him as he is quite a hyper child and needs little extra help bout instead of helping him Last week he was sent to another class because of his behaviour and the class he got sent to the teacher did not let him in so the class that he got sent to the teacher made him stay outside and he was waiting out in the corridor he then knocked and said please can I come in and again the teacher was rude to him. The teacher who originally sent him out the class (after 2 warnings and the schools procedure is 4 warnings so I'm not sure why he got sent out anyway) came out and the two teachers exchanged words and the class teacher who he had been sent to and did not let him in turned around to the other teacher saying his vile loud enough for my son to hear along with 2/3 other students that also heard I have complained about this as I think it's terrible that a teacher can say that about any child not just mine. The outcome : the teachers covering there back said that it wasn't true and she called the class vile not my child, of course both teachers stuck together on there stories. I then seen the dupty head about this who although spoke to children in the class ( 2 said they had heard the teacher say it towards my son the others never heard it but did not say it wasn't said) told me he has to support the school and basically believe the teachers, I was very disappointed with this as we normally have a good relationship regarding my son. my son was very upset about this and so am I, if you teach the children to be honest and be nice to each other and the teachers can lie and say hurtful things to the children and get away with it then what are you teaching the children of Shirley Heath. Very disappointed can't wait to get my children out the school. Putting this aside the receptionist are absolutely lovely ladies and I can say other then this incident the dupty head is normally also great with my child .

   I am a former student, it was a great school, even loved it that much I did work experience there in my final year of secondary school. Definitely recommend this school to anyone
