I came across this shop today by accident. I was attending an event in the business complex and had parked in the available bay. Half way through the event came out to get something from my car and a man approached me to move my car. I said I would be happy to in half an hour when I would be leaving the event. He then began shouting at me that his customers were complaining that they were not getting parking and that if I didn’t move my car immediately and tell everyone at the event to move their cars, he would block them with a forklift for the rest of the day. He then wouldn’t listen to any of my attempted explanations that I was just a guest at an event and that it is unrealistic to tell people to suddenly interrupt an event to move cars especially as the event would be over in less than an hour. He actually put a fork lift in front my car and threatened to trap my car if I didn’t move into the street right away. He said my friends and I should stop our event immediately and park on the street instead. It was uncessarily rude, aggressive and unreasonable especially as it is a public car park and no restrictions had been communicated to us. It felt like was on an ego trip. If this is the way he treats strangers and potential customers, it is not good. I cannot recommend this shop. He seems to only want Eastern European customers. Any interest I would have had in even browsing his goods or learning more is gone. Just to add I am a black woman and for all he knows married to an Eastern European Man or visited Eastern Europe and enjoy their cuisine. I would have checked out the shop after the event but realised that his hostility and attitude showed he was not interested in custom from «my type ». I wish him all the best and pray God bless his endeavours because business is not easy. If you keep an open mind, you never realise where new customers could come from. Imagine if he had invited us in to the shop rather than shouting at us to leave the complex. My review would be very different. I am giving it a one star review and making this comment public so he and his staff are more open minded if presented with a group of 20 plus women coming to celebrate a 30th birthday , some from out of town. Being friendly doesn’t hurt. Also putting up signs saying reserved for his customers in his respective bays would stop other people from parking there. There was no such sign. Thank you Tomas if you read this , I hope you do better next time. Update your signs and keep an open mind. God’s blessings always. Peace and love.

I've been going to this store for 7 years because there are some products that my children love... but I'm tired of buying expired products from them... especially fish... but I said that if this happens again I'll go to them with the police, this is not possible, I think that if they do a check, half of the store is expired

You can see your self on the picture frozen food stack on floor where everyone is working from outside bringing dirty on the shoes. I think is expired food but keep watching and women put back all frozen food in the fridge for sale with one was on the floor. Not coming back again .

Very interesting range of food and drink to buy. I believe that it is primarily Lithuanian based. Well worth a visit

I visited Pelene, an and was extremely happy with the variety of produces on offer, the staff, and overall service. The store was clean and well-organized, and I was immediately struck by the wide selection of Eastern European products. From fresh produce and meats to traditional spices and baked goods, Pelene had everything I was looking for and more. The staff was friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to assist me in finding the products I needed. They were knowledgeable about the various products and offered recommendations based on my preferences. Overall, I had a fantastic shopping experience at Pelene and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality products. I will definitely be returning in the future.

If there was no stars I would give none as they simple money grabbers and the prices on the products doesn’t match any of them on the receipt. I upload an example on here so

You can find many of Lithuanian products at this shop. Shelves is always full. Larger selection for your BBQ needs. Someone is always around if you need help. Reasonable prices and good quality of the products. Plenty of parking outside.
