I have never seen or heard such a thing in my entire life. I went today to enquire about a course and were told that parking is only for staff and students have to go pay somewhere private. Oh really? this doesn't happen even in third world countries. This is such a big bias that you have parking for your staff and not the students. I didn't even get out of my car and left immediately. This place is either only solely for kids or very unprofessional. Who really approved this college without students' parking? Incompetence screams across English institutions. One is worse than the other. But, if you have to choose between bad and worse, don't choose either and seek a third route. Cheers !

Im enrolled in a dental nursing apprenticeship here and it has been an amazing experience with sandwell college. I have learnt many things which are needed and i get help in exam preparation and revision workbooks. I totally recommend going here as they will give you all the help you need. It is a very friendly place and welcoming to all. My assessor Marianne Brand has made a massive positive impact on my learning and experience here. I would highly suggest to enroll with sandwell college

After 30 years in the same old job I took the plunge and decided on a change of career...Dog Grooming and Animal being my choice. The tutors were great.! Confidence building a speciality. I passed all my exams with relative ease. The practical was scary but the tutor Louise

I would like to review two departments at this college, the first one being animal care/dog grooming. Lovely supportive staff, in particular Louise, who is absolutely fab with her students. Generally a lovely supportive team, they have done wonders not only by helping my daughter gain two qualifications but also by helping her with building confidence. The second department I would like to mention is child care, in particular the ladies that teach "supporting teaching and learning", Olwyn and Claire. The way in which these ladies deliver these lessons and observations is spot on. I have gained confidence, new skills, new knowledge and a qualification. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and always felt fully supported by these two lovely ladies. I will be forever grateful to both of these departments and their staff. * Do not let the negative reviews put you off, a positive attitude goes a long way. (You will get out what you are willing to put in).*

I can't speak highly enough of this college especially the dog grooming tutors. My daughter started her dog grooming course 2 years ago and she has come on leaps and bounds. The support the tutors have given her has been outstanding. We will both be sad to see her leave.

I did an SIA course with this college. I was promised on completion I would get an SIA badge. Since completing the course they have not been back in touch, they never answer the phone and no one knows anything about my queries. I have wasted the last 3 months of my life waiting for results of the course. I was told recently by a member of staff it would be quicker for me to go and do the course again somewhere else. The same thing has happened to everyone that was in my class and I have spoke to people in the class previous and the same happened to them. Stay away from this complete waste of space of a college.

The teachers are all nice and very knowledgeable, and the classes are informative and engaging, I did engineering lvl1 here, and all of my teachers taught me a lot about engineering in a short span of time. The head of engineering retired mid-course and when the new head December ded to completely change the timetable, with barely a few days notice, which was very annoying to me and my work manager. The college building itself feels a bit sterile and boring, almost like an education factory.

As a Senior Social Worker I have made several unsuccessful attempts to contact your Safeguarding team this week. I was politely informed that all staff are currently enrolling students and not available. I am dismayed that such a large college is not putting safeguarding higher up on your agenda and NOT giving your safeguarding staff the time to carry out their crucially important duties. I have no problem with your safeguarding staff, after dealing with them in the past and I know how much in demand they are. Normally, I can ring them and receive an immediate response and it is expected that full time safeguarding staff means exactly that! However, the college needs to place more importance to your safeguarding staff and they should not be expected to cover other duties. I will phone again next week and would expect that staff are working fully in safeguarding!

An interesting building, friendly staff and great surrounding shops. The lifts are slow, even if there's 6, the building is well kept, and there is plenty of security. Easy access, and has plenty of places to buy food and drink inside.
