Terrible place, overpriced, rude staff and the owner is a vile individual and don't even get me started on the bouncers! Don't waste your time or your money.
Now called Proud Ainie. Irish themed bar. Came for a quick drink. Not sure they've changed the interior since it was Truth. Lots of green lightning. Not quite sure how Irish it feels. Service was ok. Prices above usual. It's a nice drinking place but sadly nothing exceptional.
All very good but when security guy push you with shoulder and you asking why then he starting to shout and they take out 1 person more than few ppl. For me it is showing how stupid they are or weak. Don't know.
Went to see Basshunter who I've been a massive fan of since my mid teens but after waiting hours and enduring the club DJ, he finally came on stage for a whopping 20 minutes and didn't sing a single song properly or in full. I love this guy but this last gig felt like he just wanted to leave ASAP. Not cool, Jonas. Some of your most loyal fans were here to see you last night and you disappointed us all. Still, thank you for coming to Wakefield. Hope you have a nice new year.
Me and some friends went to truth for a basshunter gig. What a waste of time. The "Dj" was absolutely shocking. All he did was talk throughout every song, never kept the crowd going and kept saying "are you ready for basshunter" my friend asked the ticket/stamp lady when is basshunter on, she said in the next half hour, that was 11:45. We asked for a refund and was pointed to the doorstaff for them to tell us they stay open till 6am. We left at 1am

The single worst bar in Wakefield. Discriminated against we paid cash they delivered our drinks to the wrong table and then proceeded to call us scum when they didn’t arrive absolute disgrace to Wakefield and the bar community also refused to give us our money back
