prices are the same as all indipendent retailers, high. But it costs far more to run this kind of business than Tesco just down the road.
Everything you need, right by the Waterloo Travelodge. So convenient, especially coming back to the hotel in the evening and just grab a few bits to take up. Well stocked and clean too.
Terrible place! They recommended the place: PHONES & LAPTOPS CLINIC (down the street). Because I had to buy a Sim Card for Data Plan…. And the Store: Phones & Laptops Clinic are Scammers!! They sell a Lie to you…. Down bellow I explain what happened: ⬇️ Terrible Place! Scammers!! They sell! I went to this shop because the girl from the liquor store across the Hilton Waterloo recommended! She said “Ali” works there, he worked in the liquor store previously… Ali sold me a Lie! I bought a Sim Card for he UK in Europe (France and Italy) for 11 Pounds… For the 3 phone company! He said I would have 20 Gigas of Date Plan… But once I payed and he installed the sim card it only kicked in 10 Gigas… And I asked why? he said I had to wait 24hours that the rest 10 Gigas would come… I waited 48hours and nothing…. So I went back to the store and he promised me that would kick in the extra 10 Gigas whenever I ran out of the first 10 Gigas…. Biggest Lie ever told… So I asked for my money back and he said he couldn’t Give…. Scammers! I have the receipt from the store and pictures… Terrible experience…. Don’t trust those salesman!! They are ruining the reputation of the store!!

We love this place! My parents and I visited the shop nearly every day during our 2-week holiday in London and were always received with warmth and hospitality. They clearly take great pride in their business and appreciate their customers. PLUS they have an incredible selection of items and the prices are amazing! No matter where we stay in London the next trip, we'll hop the bus to Waterloo to see Selen and family again!
These people do not scan a lot of there items, they just say the price, I was charged £1 for a pack of sweets I regularly buy , I said to them one day scan it as the scan is on there counter it was 99p. Yesterday I picked up another packet of sweets the man said £1.29 , I said scan it , it was 99p, these people are thieves. Don't be fooled by a friendly or smiling face, I work local to the shop I know it well.
Been going to this shop for years and it is always a pleasant experience. The shop workings are always friendly and happy to help not to mention the shop selection. I honestly do not have to go to the Tesco’s express metres away from it because everything I always need is there from alcohol to your daily foods. All in all Bottle and Basket is the best around.
