Booked an hour with 9 friends on a Saturday which is £200 for the arena - very expensive compared to what they advertise! However, the group before us was running late so we ended up going in 15 minutes late. I didn’t even know there was meant to be a fog machine until I read the reviews… there isnt, the equipment doesn’t really work and the scores at the end seem to be completely random. One friend left the game early and somehow her score went up while she was gone.. It’s still fun running around in there but the amount of money we paid for late entrance and faulty equipment is ridiculous.

Having read a previous review from 7 months ago which was critical of the state of the equipment and the fact that the staff couldn’t care less - sad to report that nothing has changed. We still managed to have fun in the actual game but the before and after experience was non-existent (it would be good to at least be told the scores at the end - or maybe get an idea of how many points each individual scored) and the equipment was faulty. I couldn’t be killed - which was great for me but not great for the opposing team! Stop taking people’s money please until you’ve sorted out the basics - working equipment and staff who are there to enhance the experience for the kids.

Extremely disappointing...! Go somewhere else. I used to bring my son every Wednesday, but we stopped going over a year ago due to the equipment being old and broken. The fog machine never worked and I'm always told it was being fixed next week. In one session we changed packs 3 times due to it not being able to shoot or be shot. My son was recently invited there for a birthday party, and although I didn't think it could get any worse, it was... When we went in we were asked to wait as they were running behind. The arena had lights left on so it wasn't dark. The fog machines still didn't work (it's not laser tag if you can't see the lasers, that's why you need the fog...!) Capturing a base was near impossible, I personally stood at a base shooting at and around the target, close to and at a distance, from angles and straight Infront of it and didn't manage to trigger the alarm until about a full minute... But even from the same place and angle I couldn't trigger the base again afterwards. The equipment was old and damaged. Not all packs could shoot others. My gun had a broken strap the had to be tied around the gun. Other guns had bits missing with big holes in the sides and not all weapon change buttons worked. The staff were useless and couldn't care less, one child was constantly complaining his pack was broken but they didn't change it. During the game one member of staff burst through the door backwards and laughing, as if he was pushed by the other member of staff while messing about. When we first went to get our packs, they were in a pile on the floor and we were told to pick them up and put them on... But the charge stations are designed to make putting the packs on easier and stops them getting damaged, so why pile them up on the floor damaging them further and twisting up all the wires? When the game finished one of the staff just said that green team won, I asked if there was any printout of the scores but they said they couldn't print. Other laser tag places give a printout of the scores and statistics so the players can compare scores and use it as a souvenir from their visit. But not this place, they needed us to leave quickly because they were running behind and needed to get the other group in. This is something my son and his friends love doing... But I'd never go here again until it's sorted out. It's definitely worth the hour trip to Liverpool where everything works.

Absolute shambles, half an hour delay with 19, 11 year olds, then the next group arrived no room for anyone, very disappointing

The game is good, but very dated (Laser Tag units look about 20 years old) some of them were glitching, unable to reload, unable to be killed, some with bits missing. The units need replacing with new units. The place needs refurbishing, very dusty, walls not totally stable, old bits of camouflage hanging from the beams, but not supposed to be. A little disappointing in the first 30 minute game due to faulty units. But overall we had loads of fun. Booking was another story, couldn't book online due to group size, so had to book by phone which cost over £10 due to being a premium rate number, booking fee was another £2 due to doing it over the phone. This is not a good way to force people to book. But again overall it was a good time for myself and family
