   We booked a horse trek for ourselves and two year old daughter whilst on holiday. She has been excited for it for months, but we were a bit concerned as she has a tendency to let nerves get the better of her and refuse to do things at the last minute. The team were absolutely fantastic with her. They made her feel very confident and she was straight up on the horse with no bother. She absolutely loved the ride (as did we) and has not stopped talking about it since. The trek was also through the stunning Cresswell Crags which was amazing to see. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be booking to ride again!

   Jessica and Ella enjoyed a 30 Minute Trek today through Creswell Crags. All the team at Coloured Cob were amazing and so friendly. We booked this morning and they managed to squeeze us on. Thank you so much ! Highly recommend to any parents looking for a fun activity with their children

   Fantastic yard all round. Horses lovely and treated like the royalty they are. I treated my husband to the 2 hour carriage driving experience recently, and it was amazing. Hubby loves horses but doesn't ride, and is a keen but slightly nervous novice, who has always wanted to have a go. Right from the start Gail was amazing. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and really put him at ease. She also has an excellent sense of humour and really looked after him. Rio the cob was beautiful and really looked after us. The session was structured really well, starting with an introduction to the carriage type & history. Next we learned about harnessing up, then it was time to venture out! We had a lovely drive around Creswell Crags, with Gail being a patient & skilled teacher. As soon as we left, Hubby said "I want to do that again!" Thank you Coloured Cob!

   We did the 1hr trek through Forrest Holidays. The centre was brilliantly organised despite there being a lot going on at the same time. They accommodated riders and beginners on our trek and the scenery was beautiful. They have clearly thought about what would be the most memorable experience as many people will be doing this on our holidays (as we were). The best pony trek we have done. The team are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend enough.

   We had a lovely few days at the centre, the friendly staff made us very welcome. Super experience tacking up and driving a wagonette in a safe environment. Also tried out riding sidesaddle, more difficult than it looks. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

   Both my daughters have lessons here and everyone is so friendly approachable. They have really progressed in the year we have been coming. My youngest daughter also had a pony party there today and the staff were great with the kids. They enjoyed a treck and loved grooming the horses afterwards. The food is always amazing and Sophie does a great job with the catering. Final mention to Gail who is great in the office and is always helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend.

   Attended a lovely lovely kids party - All staff made Elsie feel really welcome and were obviously really experienced with children with special needs (and the parents of said children!) Rhianna was the member of staff who led her round. She was fantastic and friendly with her and she was really safe throughout. I think we have found her new hobby!
