A review for the opticians. Have been using for the last 8 years or so and went recently for eye test and was picked up an issue with my eye. Was very thorough and managed to get a appointment at St Peters eye section the following day. The attention given by her (didnt get her name) at the eye test was fantastic amd thorough. A credit to Asda.

I was shopping for my elderly father and needed assistance. Shamila helped me at the customer services desk and really went the extra mile to help. I was about to give up but with Shamila's aid I was able to get everything he needed. All the staff I talked to were helpful and pleasant but Shamila was the star.

It's gone downhill over the past 3 years. They have changed the brand put lower grade food, smaller packaging, pumped the price up. It's not clean and quite often ill find food out of date. Their reduced items are not really reduced by much so not worth the effort. I get angry at the stuff who appear to have their playground packs and constantly speaking in a foreign language on the shop floor. Is it not the law to speak English while serving the public otherwise the public will feel alienated. The only good thing is its location to me and the self service petrol station. Waitrose actually have better prices for fresh meat and fish. It's more efficient and so much more nicer to the public. Would rather go there, spend £15 more and feel like a person when I leave.

I mostly have a positive experience in this store, however this is the first time I've been here since cafe menu changed/ updated. Kids meals are £1 with a purchase of a main meal. A lot more used to be included however they have given measly size portion for my 5 yr which makes it hardly worth it. Morrinsons portions were much more generous. Actually looks like they spent £1 on it won't be using cafe again. There used to be a lovely lady working there, however today I got someone who doesn't want to be there, really moody.

I go to asda most days, we always scan and go for "quickness" this isn't always the quickest, the scan and go red light can't be seen from self scan!! This evening was particularly bad!! 2 staff doing self scan, kiosk, scan and go!! I witnessed que at kiost and between self scan and scan and go there were at least 7people waiting for authorisation Surely there is enough people unemployed to recruit more staff The 2 girls covering were doing their best but needed more staff! Would also like to point out that only 1 till was open!! Absolutely crazy

Sheerwater cafe is the best. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Mark is a great person to be fronting this store. He is not only polite and helpful but has a great sense of fun which is infectious. Today I had soup, roll and a cup of tea for £1.00 - it was lovely and don’t know how you do it but as a pensioner , I am very thankful. Well done

The staff here are incredible. Prompt response to my father in law falling, they couldn’t be more helpful. All the staff I met are a credit to the brand. The cafe is neat and tidy, staff here are also really friendly (try the chocolate cake it’s insane), you can tell staff really care when they talk to you. The manager of this store has fostered a great spirit amongst the staff, this store is a shining light amongst Asda stores. It’s the benchmark. Thank you for the prompt response with compassion and practical solutions. The first aider was also on hand in a flash. It was an impressive thing to see, staff working in tandem to resolve an unexpected event.

We were concerned we may have over stayed in the carpark as we met people/ friends & chatted while doing some shopping. But Aleesa? ( sorry if miss spelt your name) What a Star. Got on the phone & sorted out with manager so we don't get a fine. Thankyou soooo much we really appreciated your efforts. You were so kind helpful & went out your way to help & settle us before leaving the shop Thankyou again. What a sweetheart
