Great place to buy quality items for a bargain, I’m a regular here. Staff can sometimes be incompetent, don’t always look like they want to be there.

Was once Halloween central, this year ran out of stock early October. Shadow of the Halloween stock of years back, boring. The experiment with freezer and chilled food was a flop, but was OK price wise.. Has had many ups and downs since everything was a pound and these days, no USP and lost its charm for browsing 100% Aisles of expensive cleaning stuff and went down the pan a long while ago. No bargains, over-expanded and gone through too many takeovers. Stressful with automated tills, was better with staffed checkouts.

Just been renovated and now has fresh and frozen food to come in once got stock and finished the renovations. With Poundland you now have choices as some things are more than a quid. Not as good as it used to be to be fair

Rare to find anything that costs a pound anymore. The medicines are competitive but barely any on the shelf

Not overly keen on the new layout but can understand the need for change. It feels like they've lost products or the amount of basic essentials to cater for clothing and a larger selection of food products in the chilled and frozen area. Self check out in the morning when opening would be handy as it can be busy and with only one staff on the till it's not ideal.

Discount shop, which we first saw in Edinburgh. Great to buy chocolates and shortbread as gifts. They also have a large pet and home sections. One of the few places where we managed to find Terry’s orange flavoured chocolates in the shape of an orange - priced cheaper than Tescos as well.

Recently refurbished so in & out door has changed. Usual stuff but they are now doing children's clothes & ladies clothes. Reasonable prices, I saw a dress I liked for £14 that was full price so worth a look. Lots of Xmas items, decorations, baubles, chocolates, xmas crackers etc... also now have a frozen food selection

Gotta love Poundland. I know not everything is just £1 but you can save loads of £s if you check things out. They cover all the categories that many supermarkets do so there are bargains to be had. Ideally situated if you're taking the children to cinema and want to get some cheaper munchies for them. Just a great place for price saving on everyday things.
