   I visited Weldricks in Kirk Sandall with my son, who is severely autistic, as I needed his ear checked due to some fluid leaking. As you can imagine, this can be very challenging, so I rang ahead to explain the situation and to make sure we could be seen quickly on arrival. The staff were so understanding and arranged a convenient time for us. When we arrived, every member of staff was welcoming and kind, which instantly put me at ease. Abby, the pharmacist, was absolutely wonderful with my son. She was patient, calm, and reassuring, even though he wasn’t the easiest patient to examine. The way she handled the situation made me feel completely relaxed, which is rare when out with my son as we often get stares or judgement. From start to finish, it was such a positive experience. I’m so grateful to Abby and the whole team – they truly went above and beyond. An amazing pharmacy with a fantastic team!

   When we started using this pharmacy a few years ago the service was really quick. However I think people have realised it's the best in the area so everyone uses it now which means that even for antibiotics you can be waiting 24 hours. The staff are fab but clearly very busy.
